I bought a couple of these to see if they would be good for storing small Lego parts. At first, they seemed ideal: They had a variety of storage configurations, with two rows of compartments for really small pieces/parts, and another section that could be configured for up to 5 larger compartments.
Once I examined them, however, I found the plastic to be rather flimsy. It's not really going to fall apart or anything, but everything, particularly the cover, flexes quite a bit. This is a problem when storing small parts, because when you pick the case up by the handle and everything goes vertical, small parts manage to squeeze between the compartment dividers and the cover, mixing themselves up.
I had no troubles inserting the optional compartment dividers, though some fit more firmly than others. Again, for small parts, you would want a tighter fit, so I recommend care is taken when separating dividers from each other (they arrive as sets of 5, all attached together). After cutting them apart, I filed down the remaining "nubs" which had connected the dividers to their neighbors--I would recommend for those looking for a tighter fit, to not file them flush: Leave a little bit out. The way the divider system is designed, that will increase friction when you insert the dividers into their slots. If I decide to keep the second one organizer, I may try that myself to see how effective it is. The good thing is, if it's too tight, it's easy to fix. It's a lot harder to fix if things get too loose!
The purple latches work well, and give a solid snap when open and closed. Unlike some other organizers, these latches are actually on hinges, and aren't simply flexible pieces of plastic, so I am not concerned with wear causing them to break off. The integrated handle balances well, regardless of the weight of the organizer's contents.
Summary:
Pros: Good latches, lots of flexibility in compartment configuration, good dividers, easy to see contents, relatively inexpensive
Cons: Flimsy plastic (particularly the cover), inconsistent divider friction, not good for small parts under 5mm (0.2") in any dimension if you ever plan to pick it up by the handle
