I ordered this from a dealer on line. It arrived in 3 boxes. The first 2 boxes were the frame, in hundreds of pieces. It took me 8 hours to put it together. The third box was the actual machine. It had instructions to assemble the light and the thread stand. There were no cords attached to the machine, and no instructions indicating how to attach the cords. Normally this would be okay, how hard is it to put a power cord on? No, you also have the cord from the handles to the machine. There were two sockets on the handles, but only one cord included that went to the handles. In addition, there were several options on the machine where the cord from the handle could fit into. Now here comes the really tricky part. There were another 2 cords in the box. It turns out that one of the cords was for a different model, while the other cord had to somehow attach to the little rollers that sent back the message for the stitch regulator. You have to remove the 48 pound machine, which required removal of one of the frame poles, then turn the carriage that rolls back and forth on the frame upside down. Now, (without any instructions, mind you) you have to figure out how to plug the cable into the roller and make it work.

Customer service? I was so frustrated that I ended up contacting the factory. The company president called me back. I thought I was getting somewhere!! No... he asked why I ordered it from the internet and told me to get the company that sold it to me to help me out. He told me that I bought it from California, call California and let them help me. BTW, I live about an hour drive from from the factory, it seems that they are in Utah, although it is not really clear.

When I finally got all the cords connected, the machine did not work. Turns out one of the cables was bad. The company that I bought it from sent me another cable. This cable had 2 connectors with 3 wires going to each connector. Seriously, one of the wires was not even connected, so it didn't work either!!

I would highly recommend that you NOT order this machine. The factory will NOT help you and your frustration level will get to the point that if you ever get it to work sewing on it is not fun. BTW, I still have not gotten mine to fully work, and I have had it now for about 10 days.
