I've used the regular FixIt for years. It is denser and gives me a longer drying time, but this stuff is even better! While still sticky, it's not as bad as its predecessor, and compared to the original Apoxie Sculpt its barely sticky.

I only use the Safety Solvent for cleaning. When the Fixit starts sticking to my tools, I use a tiny, tiny amount of petroleum jelly smearing it on the back of my off-hand. Then while I work, I can lightly tough the tool to the jelly if the stuff gets ridiculous. Clay Shapers work wonderfully with this stuff too.

It has more body and a longer drying time. They advertise 4 hours give or take. I can never get to last that long, even when keeping it cool. By the time I get 2 to 2.5 hours, it's unworkable for the most part but I couldn't get the old stuff to last an hour. I also like the density it definitely has more resistance than the old fix it.

This is the best Aves product for my work filling gaps on gaming miniatures and even larger scale historical and different models. I use it to sculpt the foundation various things, cloaks, hair,, whatever, because it's stronger than Kneadite or greenstuff which a lot of times you can just peel off but it depends where you're using the greenstuff, etc. and how you apply it. But I struggle to get it smooth even using the Safety Solvent, so will many times put a very thin layer of kneadite on the top just to smooth out finger prints and so on.
