Brother Sewing Machine LX2500 Lightweight - 17 Stitch - 4 Step
This is categorized as a beginner model at Walmart so I picked one up for myself for the purpose of getting more mileage out of my old favorite threads. I'm a 56 year old guy who's never used a sewing machine before and I'm so glad I chose this one. The instructional DVD packed with this machine is top notch! Thanks to the great DVD I was up and running in no time and I sewed a button back on a pair of my favorite pants within minutes after threading the machine. I used to sew buttons back on and repair torn clothes by hand and WOW! What a difference this thing makes! It makes sewing so quick and easy! I love it! I can't say enough about how great the DVD is. The narrator speaks VERY clearly and just does an outstanding job. The picture quality is great. I highly recommend this machine especially for beginners like myself. The machine seems well built and sounds solid when it runs. Everything about it is user friendly. I'm totally satisfied.
