First, this is PUTTY. So if you have air bubbles..you're doing it wrong. Basically this is two part Silly Putty. You sit and knead it with your fingers until there are no streaks of white left. It is not "poured" it is a solid product. It is basically for anything you want an impression of, it's IMO not good if you want to do something like a ring, but I admit I'm more into pourable silicone which is a totally different product. For a flatter ring it might work and I'll be experimenting with it. If, on the other hand, you want to make things like plaster moldings for dollhouses, or even to pour low melt metals in, it's perfect. Also great for those of you who do polymer clay work. If you want to "cast" something more 3 dimensional on the other hand, get pourable silicone rubber.

Keep this stuff in mind for things like pendants, or moldings, and it is food grade, so fondant. I do metal casting and this works for that as well although you do kill the life of the mold faster. You can also use it for smaller guest sized soaps, although, I really suggest pouring silicone rubber for big bars of soap.

There's no smell, the odd greasy sensation may throw some off however, but it's totally normal for silicone putty. Use gloves if it's that big of a deal.

Good sized for what you will probably use it for. They do have bigger sizes if you need to do several molds. It does help if you use a container (for one mold I used the top of a soda bottle for a really small charm mold) so that your mold looks a little neater if you care about that sort of thing.

Set up is quick, but not so fast you don't have time to get a good impression. Make sure you really knead the two parts together, I also suggest a cheap scale so you have equal parts although really, I've mixed too much purple to not enough white and been fine. Once you take the impression and set the mold aside, it's about 20 minutes before it is cured. I do suggest for metal pouring you let it cure 24 hours.

Once cured, know that the flexibility is low. There is some "give" but it's minimal, which is why for me, it wasn't good for a bubble ring done in resin, I will continue to use pourable silicone rubber for that type of mold. However, for something flatter, like a pendant, it's flexible enough to pop out your material.

All in all, decent price (cheapest I've found out there in fact) and a good product as long as you know what you're doing with it and not trying to force it to do something it's not made for, like 3D casting.
