I wanted to cut out several 3D animals to place on the table at my Son's carnival themed birthday party next week. I was excited to finally get this cartridge because I think that the 3D animals look great. It says in the product description that you can use this cartridge with any cricut machine, however, if you want to make the 3d animals you must have a 12 in machine. The 3D animals I have tried thus far will only cut at 4 inches and despite the fact that this is ample space for the six inch machine some of the cuts include two pieces which then exceed 6 inches. I am bummed! I think I might try to use the new cricut design program (which is free to download) and see if I can use it that way. But I am really annoyed, and even if it does work, it is still an inconvenience. I was able to make the tiger so I am sure that you could make some of the animals, but they have a lot of pieces (very tedious to put together)and I had to make double pieces to make the animal strong enough to stand up despite the fact that I used card stock which is what is recommended.
