I purchased these after seeing Hero Arts neon paint dabbers (acrylic paint in small sponge-topped dabber bottles) and wanting something similar, but in a more "fluid" consistency and less than forty dollars for a whole set of six. I found these, and I decided to order them to see what they were.
They are WONDERFUL. They are liquid watercolors with a bit more "heft" (meaning, a little tiny bit creamy) but they are translucent and water-reactive. The colors are greattrue neons. I didn't know how neon and translucent could go together, but the colors really pop off the page. They react with each other and with water, so they are great for all sorts of painting and crafting applications.
I can see using these both with the sponge dabbers and just pouring them straight into a palette for working as a watercolor medium on its own.
If you are looking to add a few super bright colors to your range, this is a great way to go.
