im printing on an epson stylus pro 9500 using durafirm inks. this canvas -HASto be clear coated or else the ink will easily crack and scratch off. it takes the ink just fine. sometimes at the end of the roll, there will be a little horizontal line, or seem, or crease, or wrinkled indentation from the lip at the very end creating a bump in the roll.
the digital ground is super even, which a blacklight will show. Its not very thick, and you can tear it with your hand if you try really really hard. When I stretch it on stretcher bars, which I've done alot with this item, you have to be careful or else you will tear it and ruin your giclee. your stretcher bars will need rounded edges or else it will crease the corner too much and create a split in the ink. its not the smoothest canvas in terms of the stitching, if you look close you can see texture of canvas, this has its pro's and cons.
this canvas, on wooden stretcher bars, clear coated, makes a wonderful product that just feels good to hold.
