Overpriced for what it is. I found it for less $$ and would rather purchase from Amazon, but instead of decreasing the price, they increased it. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo, righT now Amazon can keep 13 in stock that they have had for several days. I would like to purchase it for my Brother machine so the Janome name is not important, because there are other tote less expensive that will do the same thing. Funnyt thing is you have to give it one star that states "I hate it". So you have to know the star rating.

Luckily it is not difficult to figure out, but still a picture or small note would have been great! Also, the package was a simple padded envelope. Liberty Oil, the Best 100% Synthetic Oil for Lubricating All of

As most everyone knows, petroleum-based oils are pumped out of the ground as crude oil. The crude is then refined to remove contaminants and impurities. This is repeated until the desired level of purity is reached. All petroleum-based oils have a certain level of impurities. Petroleum-based sewing machine oil is a mixture of hydrocarbon chains of varying lengths and a very small percentage of impurities such as wax and sulfur. When this type of oil evaporates it leaves behind these impurities and over time, with repeated oiling, will cause a buildup of sticky residue. Up until the advent of synthetic oil, such petroleum-based oil has provided a good solution for lubricating sewing machines. Synthetic oils are manufactured to produce hydrocarbon chains that are, for all practical purposes, the same length and are essentially free of impurities. There is no residue buildup when synthetic oil evaporates. In addition, the identical chains ensure that synthetic is "slicker" than petroleum-based oil. The reason I am writing all this background is to emphasize that synthetic oil has become the best solution for sewing machine lubrication.

Liberty Oil is sold as 100% synthetic oil in different sizes and applicator lengths. The manufacturer states that it contains "two friction modifiers". I don't know exactly what that means in the context of the 100% synthetic claim. This particular item is packaged in a 1 oz flexible soft plastic bottle with a 1 1/2" stainless steel applicator. The applicator is a fairly sharp needle that is thin enough and long enough to easily access what would normally be hard to reach oiling points. It could be my imagination, but my machine seems to run quieter with synthetic oil than it did with petroleum oil. I am very happy with this purchase. Synthetic oil is the way to go...five stars.

Uniquely You Your Shape Pinnable Dressform - Petite

Buying this dressform from SewVacDirect was the right choice. You can adapt the form to your measurements by altering the cover. I recommend getting the closest size as possible since the foam will only squeeze to a certain point. I fall between the petite and small size. I went for the petite size with cover #3 (largest size cover within the petite). It is easier to add padding to the form and then reduce the size of the cover, than it is to try to squeeze a small cover on a bigger dressform. If you've never sewn before you might find it challenging to follow the instructions for the cover alterations. If you know how to sew it should be a piece of cake. Please make sure before checking out to specify your cover size... I was careless and had to call/email SewVacDirect to let them know my cover size. For the price, being able to drape, pin, and construct a garment to my exact measurements cannot be beat! ... one last thing, I am glad Amazon does not have Allbrands.com from Louisiana as a vendor. They were a nightmare! They will rip you off! Im glad my credit card backed me up when they did not filled my order and tried to charge me for the shipping, (they have several complaints with the BBB)...so avoid allbrands.com like the plague.

im printing on an epson stylus pro 9500 using durafirm inks. this canvas -HASto be clear coated or else the ink will easily crack and scratch off. it takes the ink just fine. sometimes at the end of the roll, there will be a little horizontal line, or seem, or crease, or wrinkled indentation from the lip at the very end creating a bump in the roll.

the digital ground is super even, which a blacklight will show. Its not very thick, and you can tear it with your hand if you try really really hard. When I stretch it on stretcher bars, which I've done alot with this item, you have to be careful or else you will tear it and ruin your giclee. your stretcher bars will need rounded edges or else it will crease the corner too much and create a split in the ink. its not the smoothest canvas in terms of the stitching, if you look close you can see texture of canvas, this has its pro's and cons.

this canvas, on wooden stretcher bars, clear coated, makes a wonderful product that just feels good to hold.

Works great. Good sharp blade that we've used to handle 5+ sheets at a time. Has no problems cutting a full 36" wide sheet. As another reviewer said, some--not all--of these little things tend to be on the loose side and can slip off of the earrings you're wearing. I love the slouch style bags. This one was the perfect length, opening of the purse sat right at my hip. I've bought others that are just way to long. Only issue was I wish the product I received was the same color pattern as the picture. The dark green and plum patch work looks like bleach touched the fabric.
