I use this (25" x 25") as the centerpiece for my daughters quilt. She has a large framed print of this cat on her wall and she loves it.

I made this quilt with matching border collors and backed the quilt with Eiffel Tower print fabric.

The fabris is 100% cotton . The fabric did not feel like quilting cotton but it did well on the quilting machine.

The fabric is machine washable cold and tumble dry low.

I love this kind of resin because it's very easy to mix and use. It also doesn't have a strong smell, but I still recommend working in a well-ventilated area. It comes in two bottles, and you mix equal amounts to do your pour, much like epoxy glue but in larger amounts. I use unwaxed paper cups to mix it, and wooden stirring sticks.

My only problem with this resin compared to the kind with catalyst is that it can be harder to unmold if you aren't using it with silicone or molds made for resin. I like using the wells in spot type watercolor dishes. Even using mold release spray, I wound up having to break one to get all the castings out. However, if you are using the suggested products like silicone molds or molds made specifically for resin, that doesn't happen.

I also haven't had much problems with air bubbles as long as I don't stir or pour too fast.

Takes between 24-48 hours to cure completely. Takes about 12 hours to get to click hard, but if you unmold at click hard and you aren't careful you can wind up with finger prints.

I had a couple of sterling charms that needed a clasp so that they could be affixed to a charm bracelet. These were perfect, but don't go any smaller than these, which are 10 mm. I found the price, $7.95 for three with free shipping, to be acceptable. The clasps are marked "925" but it is excruciatingly hard to find. Look on the moving part of the clip; I had to use a loup to find it. Note also that the ring at the bottom of the clasp is not sautered, which could present a problem if you open the ring and attach the charm there. I chose instead to use the clasp part to catch the charm to the bracelet.

January 24 update: I purchased three more to finish my charm bracelet, and now the price went down to $6.99. I am impressed with the fact that I am able to bend open the small link at the end of the lobster claw to attach the charm without that small link breaking. It's maddening work with tweezers, but it can be done, both in bending out the link and bending it back securely. The seller does a great job of packaging the clasps so that they do not get damaged in transit.

That's correct, ladies, I'm a Harley rider who sews the consequence of living alone . . . sigh.

Notwithstanding my genius and dexterity, I must admit to creating hems that resemble the country roads on which I like to ride: curvy. Impelled by pride, I recently undertook to discover if some sort of guide was made for my machine (Singer) to assist in straightening out my path. At Amazon, I discovered the blind hem presser foot which seemed to me to serve a useful dual purpose: yes, create a blind hem for esthetic reasons but, more importantly, create a blind hem for the sewing impaired, your humble servant.

This item is a "snap-on" foot which, as noted in the product description, many machines accommodate or easily adapt to fit with a screw-on attachment to the presser bar. After creating an S-fold in the material at the hem, the foot is placed on the hem edge where the straight portion of the stitch will be located; the zigzag (blind) stitch is adjusted to just catch the fold. The presser foot has a very easy to adjust guide that is set to follow the fold.

I have to proceed rather slowly to ensure that the guide travels along the fold and yields a reasonably straight hem. Nevertheless, in those instances when I daydream myself off track, the spacing of the blind stitch is such that it is not readily noticeable a good thing since the curtains I am making for a window above my kitchen sink counter shows its hem rather conspicuously.

In spite of its modest cost, the presser foot is a hefty piece that appears well made. The guide is plastic but stout enough such that I do not anticipate breakage due to wear-and-tear or modest abuse.

In a word, I am quite happy with this gadget.

I agree with the review above.

No instructions....... it will not punch thru more than 2-3 sheets of paper. I am 6'2" and all it does it compress. Most hole punches have a head that goes THROUGH a hole to punch the paper cleanly. This design does not.

I had thought that, at this price, the package would provided a wide range of diameters and thicknesses. Instead there many sets of rings of similar sizes. They are all very thin thinner than any of the O-rings in my watches. There are large gaps in the diameters provided. It is unlikely that the size you need will be in this package. If it is, then at least you will have about 20 in that size! I needed two sizes and nothing from the package was even close to what I needed.

If they are going to sell something like this, then they should list the sizes there are not that many to list!

This is a bad product at a very high price.

I read a lot of good reviews and a lot of horrible reviews here, so I was very wary when using this product. There are some pitfalls that may get you, but if you are careful, you should be able achieve a beautiful result. I transferred images onto green shirts and got vibrant colors with no bleedthrough.

Assuming everyone followed instructions correctly, I think some of the problems people had might have been the result of either their printer or their iron. I happened to have access to an excellent high quality Epson R1800, 8 color, inkjet printer. If you have a low quality (or maybe just a different) printer it's possible that the colors might not end up as bright or as thick on the transfer. It's possible that even high quality printers might vary in how well they work with this particular product I only have one data point, so I can only guess. Make sure you use the highest quality setting when you print! I did have one paper feed issue. One of my transfers got a little blurred on one end, apparently due to the transfer shifting position slightly while being printed. Luckily, it was not a critical part of the image.

I think some other problems people have described might have been the result of the iron temperature being too hot (bubbling) or not hot enough (peeling). I guess irons can vary. I think the hottest setting of my iron might have been just a little on the cool side. I found that I got better results by increasing ironing time. I got no bubbling or burning. If you're seeing bubbling, you might want to turn the iron temp down slightly or decrease ironing time. If at all possible, you should print several testing pieces and practice ironing them on scrap fabric first (I used an old shirt from the rag box). If your design is not full-page, then you can use extra space on each page for a test design and cut that out separately. Obviously, if you do it this way, the picture you are printing has to include both your real design as well as the test. If you have an extra transfer sheet, you can print a page of several smaller test designs on the extra sheet. The tests will allow you to calibrate your iron temperature and ironing time.

For my task, I had no extra sheets. I needed to make 5 shirts with a logo on the front (~2.5" square) and big design on the back (~7" square). I could fit those both on the same sheet along with an extra logo. So, when printed and cut out, I had 5 extra logos to use for testing.

Even though I had bought pre-shrunk cotton shirts, I washed and dried them before applying the transfer just to be safe.

Others mentioned problems removing the backing from the transfer. When I cut out my design, I made sure to leave little 1/2" tabs at one corner so I wouldn't mess up the design when trying to peel off the backing. This worked well in most cases. I could bend and mangle the tab to start the peeling process without damaging my design. Once the backing started peeling away properly it came all the way off easily. Once the backing is removed (or partly removed), you can trim the tab off with scissors. With about 75% of my pieces, this worked fine, but on some, the backing seemed to come off a little but then didn't peel properly. When this happened, I quickly abandoned that corner and moved to the opposite corner of the design and was able to separate the backing correctly from there. A sharp fingernail really helps with this (I wish mine had been just a bit longer). In hindsight, it would have helped to have tabs on two opposite corners in case one corner didn't work. I'm guessing that along one (or more) edges of the transfer sheet, the backing may be stuck on just a bit more tenaciously so that it doesn't peel off accidentally (or in the printer). Luckily, I was always able to find a place on my design where I could peel the backing away properly. Once the backing started peeling away correctly from one side, the corners that originally had trouble on the other side peeled off just fine.

When I was done, I washed the shirts again and the results looked good. Colors still bright, no peeling or cracking. Time will tell how well they hold up.

How to avoid pitfalls:

* Pre-wash shirts.

* Use highest quality setting when printing.

* Print a few test transfers (can be small) to help calibrate iron.

Bubbling: turn iron temp down or reduce ironing time

Peeling: increase ironing time, really press down firmly on the iron. Pay special attention to edges and corners

* If possible, leave tabs on 2 opposite corners of your design to aid in removing backing trim off later.

* If backing is not coming off properly, stop immediately and try from opposite corner.

* It's probably best to cut away at least 1/4" from edge of sheet.

* The tissue paper backing can be reused! This is useful to know if you are making multiple smaller designs on each sheet. No need to trim the tissue paper, always just use the full sheet, there's less chance of slipping.

* If you place the backing-removed transfer on a hot shirt, it may start to curl up at the edges. Have your tissue paper handy to immediately place over the transfer.

I purchased these after seeing Hero Arts neon paint dabbers (acrylic paint in small sponge-topped dabber bottles) and wanting something similar, but in a more "fluid" consistency and less than forty dollars for a whole set of six. I found these, and I decided to order them to see what they were.

They are WONDERFUL. They are liquid watercolors with a bit more "heft" (meaning, a little tiny bit creamy) but they are translucent and water-reactive. The colors are greattrue neons. I didn't know how neon and translucent could go together, but the colors really pop off the page. They react with each other and with water, so they are great for all sorts of painting and crafting applications.

I can see using these both with the sponge dabbers and just pouring them straight into a palette for working as a watercolor medium on its own.

If you are looking to add a few super bright colors to your range, this is a great way to go.

It came threaded with color coordinating thread and instructions on how to rethread the machine. It was a very simple set up. Basically I was sewing right out of the box after threading! When the belt for my old Singer sewing machine gave out, I was worried. I came to Amazon in search of a replacement. It was hard to tell from some of the item descriptions which belt I needed. I found this one and it was the correct belt. My Singer is one that has the knee peddle. Very greatful to still be able to enjoy sewing with that Singer.
