We bought one of these for a large stack (10 inches tall) of paperwork that had to be put into binders. Many of the pages were heavy duty stapled together and too large for my standard 3 hole punch. The sheets that would fit even as just 3 or 4 pages at a time always seemed to get snagged on the way out of every standard 3 hole punch I tried. This one was a dream to use. 60-70 sheets at a time, perfect clean cut top to bottom, pages slid right out. I expect having this tool allowed me to do in 25 minutes what would have taken 3 hours to complete with a lesser product. Expensive, but should pay for itself quickly.

Well packaged and ID cards are clear and worked amazingly well. Need to achieve pretty high temp in order to seal the laminate with the 10-mil tags. In my case, I used a business card as the media and made for a very solid ID Tag.

I'm using this as an applique for a decoratine pillow or a child's bed cover. The material is very light weight, but the picture is great and it should work well. It came quickly and was well packaged securely in a round tube.
Blazer Ultrasonic Cleaner Digital Display
The title says it all. This item is one of my better purchases and like an earlier reviewer said, once you try it, you will be searching for other things to clean. The cleaning process is fairly simple. You fill the cleaning chamber with water, place your item in the bin, set the cleaning time, and return to a very clean item.
The 3800 includes the cleaner itself, a tray for smaller pieces and a watch holder. The manual says that "enhanced" cleaning can be accomplished using 5 ml of dishwashing soap. I used Dawn and my watch, ring, and glasses came out extremely clean. With my glasses, I use a microfiber towel to dry them and the lens and frame sparkle. It is the cleanest that I have ever seen the lens.
There is a viewing port, which allows you to see the cleaned item and the dirty water without stopping the cleaning. The timer button is great. You press it repeatedly to cycle through the cleaning times, there are five. My watch band was extremely dirty so I used the 380 second cleaning time. My ring and glasses were clean with the normal 180 second cleaning time.
The 3800 is well built, is relatively quiet, and uses normal tap water. The Owner's Manual is a one-page foldout, but it does tell you everything that you need to know. I have not had the item very long, but currently, I am very pleased with it.

I too was having a ton of problems with the lower thread looping under the fabric. It was very frustrating. Finally I figured out how to fix it. Refer to the owner's manual section on inserting the bobbin for photos. What you want to do is drop in the bobbin, and pull the thread through the little slit like it says. But, you have to make sure that the thread goes into the slot in the "tension-adjusting spring" (this is hard to see; pull up the plastic tongue that forms the slit a little with your fingernail to see where it is), although it should go in by itself, then YOU HAVE TO HOLD THE BOBBIN SO IT DOESN'T MOVE AND PULL THE THREAD GENTLY TO SEAT IT INTO THE SPRING. That is the key. After I made sure the thread was all the way in, like magic my lower thread was working perfectly.
Aside from that I am happy with the machine. I especially like the needle threader and think that the top thread is very easy to thread. Now that I figured out the lower thread issue, I want to experiment with all the stitches! I wish the presser foot lever was on the back instead of the inside, but oh well. Be careful taking off the tape because I ripped some off and it pulled up a little plastic on the green part of the machine.
The owner's manual IS hard to read. The Spanish is right after the English, and sometimes they repeat the same instructions twice, and it's not laid out well. It is manageable, though.
They make you think you have to buy special bobbins, but on the box it says you can replace them with class 15, although I have not tried that yet. The accessories seem quite acceptable, except I wish they had given you some ball point needles for knits and stretch rather than just more sharp points.
Overall, it sews fine once you get everything threaded right, and I've made several tops already. Definitely good for a beginner or someone who doesn't want to do anything too fancy.
Zipper Foot Snap On - Fits Most Sewing Machines That Use Snap On
I've been told that sewing a zipper is all about the pressure foot. Well this little pressure foot allowed me to sew my first zipper perfectly! Love that you don't have to change the pressure foot to sew the other side of the zipper -this foot is designed for sewing both sides (unlike some zipper foots). I just move my needle position to the other side of the pressure foot and place my fabric with zipper accordingly. Works great!

A few years ago, I bought a 1929 Underwood No. 5 typewriter at a local antique shop. Shortly thereafter, a friend of mine gave me a portable Underwood typewriter. I've used this product on both of them in order to loosen up the keys (especially in the second one) with great success. I imagine it would also work well on a sewing machine, but I don't have one (yet), so I can't really comment. If you're looking for a nice, effective lubricant for small metal moving parts, though, I would recommend this product.

I have used the small trimmer by Fiskars and the Cutterbee by EK Success. They are both better than this one. You have to push very hard on the the cutter and even then it does not always cut! It would be impossible to use with any accuracy when working with small cuts.

$35 may seem a bit steep for a replacement foil and blades, but installing these made my razor work like new again. If you can get a new Panasonic wet/dry with the 13,000 rpm motor cheap then it may be worth it to buy a new razor instead of new blades. The picture may show one cutting blade but there are two in the package.
Singer 3116.RF Simple 18-Stitch Mechanical Sewing Machine
The reason I gave the Simple Singer 3116 a one star was because there is no zero star. I bought a brand new one. Do not waste your time or your hard earned money. I would be embarassed to put my name on anything that hookie. Chinese made. The bobbin jammed over and over and over the first day I started to use it. Singer said, " it might be off timing ". It's brand new for crying out loud. The instruction video was superb. But that's where it ended. The product is really frustrating.
Let me tell you about the bobbin. It sits in a half moon shaped depression that you slide a " hook " into and then while holding that easily disgorged piece with one hand you have to slide the race over all that and then clip " dog ears " over each side to hold it in place. Then you take the bobbin and slide it in to the center post. I can't think of anything more prone to failure than that design except perhaps just tossing those parts in there without even dog earring them.
From the Singer Customer Svc CTR apparently this is not new to them. They said the electronic units do not have " this problem ".
Hope this helps with your decision making. I wish I had seen this prior to buying mine.
