Bought this for my 9 yr old son who is an enthusiast for instruments such as compasses, telescopes, maps and sundials. Classy, sturdy, nice color, not that cheap brassy gold look. Arrived earlier than expected and is a great piece of decor that my son can cherish long into his adult years, and also enjoy as a kid.
