I attended school for apparel design, so I know that this form does not compare to the profesional wolf forms or superior model forms that range from 300-1000$.

Basically, if you are like me and have a symmetrical form and are relatively built like a dress form and are not intending to do a strenuous amount of sewing for professional reasons (unless this is to bide your time in the start up phase of a business), then great! You can probably go with one of the cheaper models out there.

However, remember that this model has a wonderful natural. more realistic hip section and mid section and separated leg area which makes it available for getting the hip area of pants correct. It also has a longer support pole, to keep your garment off the ground, or if you are tall. It is steam-able, rotates 360, and pinable. Remember to use a bra on the form that you intend to wear with the garment you are constructing. This will really help especially with strapless ensembles.

If you have a hard to replicate form, such as enlarged midsection, uneven shoulders, etc, consider a My Twin Dress form which is created to your specific body shape.

Otherwise, the my double deluxe works well enough for me.

Hot Off The Press Shaped Brads By Hot Off The Press, Jewel

A friend gave me a couple sets of these adorable dragonfly brads simply because I love dragonflies. They are a simple, lightweight brad that one can use for scrapbooking, simple craft decoration, or to hold papers together. Unlike the traditional brad, these only have a single conjoined shank instead of two. They did work nicely when I used them to go through a few pieces of notebook paper, but any more than than was a bit tricky. I put my thumb directly behind the shank so it wouldn't bend.

The appearance and color scheme matches the picture nicely. In each package the colors are equally divided so I'm not overloaded with one color over another. The wings and tail of each dragonfly are nicely detailed and creates a nicely raised design on the paper. The package acts as a container as it closes nicely to store the dragonflies. Keep in mind that these dragonflies are small and are approximately 3/4-inch wide. The photograph belies the "cute factor" and makes them look a bit sloppy. They are adorable and would be perfect for craft and scrapbooking use.

i have half a dozen of these used to store and access glass, pearl and crystal beads for jewelry making. i love the size and shape though i wish they offered a version with three deep compartments instead of one deep and two shallow. however, once full, they have to be lifted off the shelf carefully from the bottom because the snaps on the sides aren't adequate to remain closed once the compartments are full. if you lift from the top using the handle, the snaps give way and the contents fly all

over the place. the flap that locks over the protrusion above is very flimsy and has broken off with very little use.

I bought this paper for my Epson 3800 looking to print photo's I had neglected printing and framing for some time. The quality and feel of the paper is great, just like you would expect from any photo processing center. I don't know how well the output would be on a non-Epson printer, as the ink and printer capabilities have a lot to do with the final output too, but I would highly recommend this paper for a good quality Epson. It's worth the money and you won't be disappointed.

Brother Heavy Duty Embroidery Machine w/USB HE 240

I have had he-240 Brother sewing embroidery machine for a month now, I love it. It is very easy to learn how to use the embroidery part! When I did have problems it was because I made the errors. The machine can only do a 4x4 area, which is great to start with but if you want a lager area, look at a different Brother machine. There is a large hoop that will fit this machine, but you can only do a 4x4 design, but the hoop is great when you want to do 2 designs close together. This hoop is sold in a set with a pocket hoop and another 4x4 hoop, this is a great set and deal. I hope this helps you!

Singer Right Upper Looper

I have a 4 bobbin Singer serger that I had purchased about 5 years ago. I tried to sew an edge to a rug, big mistake! It broke off Upper and lower looper. I took it in to get it fixed, at a "Sew and Vac" store. To my surprise they wanted $275.00! I paid about that much, when I bought the serger at Walmart! I figured I could buy the parts and do it myself. The upper looper was a little shorter then the one I broke off. This sits on a rod there is no adjustment just screw on. The lower looper can be moved up and so I compensated for the upper looper being a little short. I got my serger up and running! Between both pieces I purchased. I spent around $30.00! I was very happy! I did go to u tube to see how hard it would be to try this, but if you like to tinker with things and like to save money. This is the way to go, worse case senerio you can take new parts with you to a sewing machine store, then they would only charge you labor. Nothing else is involved, so don't let them try to say there is.

Seemed like 90% green... beautiful colors, but mostly green ... bummed. i used what i could was expecting more of a variety and rainbow mix with a variety to choose from for my costumes.. who ever picked out this batch just gave me all green, the pretty colors were so minimal, but i did what i could. guess i got the last of the batch or the color that no one buys. i was eally dissaopointed being that i was using this for my costumes, but at least there were some pretty colors in there which were too few too far and too in between for such a big batch which was fulled with mostly green..hope the next one i buy is way better than this

SINGER 7463 Confidence Sewing Machine

The first one I got was in Jan '09. It lasted me until June, and I started having a lot of problems with it. It started making terrible noises, sounded awful, wouldn't sew straight, stitches were inconsistent, tension was messing up intermittently I had to stop using it for vacation, got back and it was worse than ever. I sent it in for service (it took 3 weeks) and they sent it back saying they had adjusted the tension and found nothing wrong. It worked quietly for about 10 minutes, and then started freaking out again. I took it back and they swapped it out for a new one . The new one started having problems with feeding the fabric and rattling by the second day. The pressure on the presser foot was off, and there was no way of adjusting it. No way to lower the feed dogs either. I ended up returning it for a refund.

I was really disappointed with the quality of this machine. I wanted it to work well, and it did... briefly. It seems Singer has really lowered the bar with their quality standards.
