I have a Badger 105 airbrush along with a couple of Badger 150s. They need supplies regularly to keep them going. Buying the needles, tips and other expendables from Amazon is great because the Badger company is the one who supplies the parts quickly, at good price and with excellent customer service. Five Stars.
Singer Machine Oil, 4-Fluid Ounce
First, the good news is that this is genuine Singer sewing machine oil. The bad news is that the nozzle on this bottle is not long enough to reach into those hard to get at places inside the sewing machine without making a big mess. Suggest saving your old can and refill it from this bottle.

We've had the very similar Janome Jem Platinum 760 for about 7 years, after using an economy grade Singer for 20 years.
I was not sold on the idea of paying 4x for a lot of bells and whistles. But it turns out to be completely worth it. Especially the 99.99% trouble-free operation.

The Janome web site has some detailed info in the "brochure" and owner manuals for each model. The 760 seems to be identical to the 720 except for 40 additional stitch patterns that we've never used, and the hard shell cover is optional on the 720.
The hard shell cover is kind of a hassle. Your thread spool is in the way whenever you place or remove the cover. A box made from heavy cardboard might be better than the hard shell cover for transport & storage.

I upgraded from a smaller embroidery hoop machine to this one. I have had my hands full trying to learn about needles, material and different stabilizers. There is a learning curve to using this machine for embroidery. But that hard work is really paying off because this machine is able to do some fantastic things.
As a sewing machine, it is large and sturdy and I have no problems with it walking off the table from vibrations. It is able to sew through heavy materials with no difficulty and it is easy to change tensions, stitch patterns and adjust stitch length and width. I really enjoy being able to adjust the needle position to just the right place I want the want the seam. This is really handy for piecing quilt blocks since you can get the perfect quarter inch seam with ease.
The various stitch patterns make sewing and decorating garments and accessories fun and beautiful. Sleeves are easy too because of the free arm. Small items are surprisingly easy to maneuver to despite the largeness of the machine.
Quilting on this machine is a breeze due to the larger space. Although there is no walking foot included it can easily use any foot that is for a low shank machine. The exciting part is that you can use the embroidery machine to quilt with. There are many patterns you can use that are easy to download off the internet, as well as design your own. When my small quilt was finished I decided to embroider a medallion in the center of it, which was easy to do, it came out beautiful.
The embroidery on different materials is a little challenging. T-shirts especially. They do come out beautiful, once you learn how to do it. That does take a bit of work.
With the embroidery program you can use your computer to design patterns and appliques. There is quite a bit of learning involved to it, but the capabilities are amazing. There are several online groups dedicated to this machine and the many talented members are willing and able to offer help when you are facing any difficulties. If I were a beginner sewist, I think the challenges of using this machine would be much greater. Not impossible but certainly more difficult.
I am glad I upgraded to this machine despite all the hard work in learning how to use it. Every day it is getting easier to use. It is taking my abilities to the next level and I am able to produce things that I never thought possible. Without this machine that never would have happened.

A few years ago, I bought a 1929 Underwood No. 5 typewriter at a local antique shop. Shortly thereafter, a friend of mine gave me a portable Underwood typewriter. I've used this product on both of them in order to loosen up the keys (especially in the second one) with great success. I imagine it would also work well on a sewing machine, but I don't have one (yet), so I can't really comment. If you're looking for a nice, effective lubricant for small metal moving parts, though, I would recommend this product.

This dress form is very convenient. The multiple dials give you a lot of control in getting the right measurements, and the fabric-covered surface lets you pin materials to the form.
However, there is one major drawback. You can't use the form to create tight-fitting tops or dresses, because the chest shape is not true to life! In real life, breast width transitions gradually from top to bottom, but at the bottom it cuts sharply in where the breast ends and the rib cage begins (under the cup). On this dress form though, the breasts thin out gradually on the underside as well, making the ribcage in that area disproportionately wide. With the waist and breast measurements set exactly to my own, it is *impossible* to even put my bra on the form!
It would be great for loose shirts and dresses, but keep in mind that the chest area is messed up.

This is a good stamp. Well made and does what it is intended to do. However, if you plan on buying the " Ink it Up" stamp pad with it, you will have to press the stamp into the stamp pad 2 times to get complete coverage of the stamp. The 12 fret stamp is longer than the stamp pad. If there is a longer stamp pad sold by amazon, I couldnt find it. If I had known this before, I would have only puchased the 5 fret version.

I got this mini sewing machine to do small crafts and quick mending, so I did not have to drag out my big machine. It is a good machine for the money. Not heavy duty, it is meant for small projects. My 8 year old hemmed her flannel pajama bottoms and it worked great. She never used a sewing machine before and with a few seconds of instruction she hemmed both bottoms without any problems. I like the slow speed, you don't feel like you are loosing control like on a bigger machines. I think that the poor reviews are because people are expecting too much, I noted one person was trying to make a pair of pants -I would not expect this machine to handle making an entire peice of clothing or sewing through heavy denim layers or anything like that. I have not tried using it on battery yet, so I have not tried the low and high speed settings, however what I have seen so far I am very pleased with. Again, this is a $50 machine people, you cannot expect it to be as good as a full sized $200+ machine, but I feel I got more than my money's worth with this Pixie.
