3 Hoops for Brother PE 150, 180D 200 Embroidery Machine

I couldn't be happier with the hoops that I bought from you. I got them ordered & received them just in the nick of time. We had a Middle school sweatshirt project( 5 sweatshirts)for some great nieces & nephew. I got them done & hand delivered to my sister...the next day was " wear your school name and get extra credit day"....so they did ! Both are good students-but it was fun for them to be in the group that wore their school pride. Thanks for getting them to me in a very timely matter & that they were exactly what you said they would be. I had a question if I could return them if they didn't fit my machine...to which I also got a very timely answer...but you told me they would fit the machine & they DID ! Thank you so much. I would buy from this seller again...in a new york minute ! LOL

ALEX® Toys - Young Artist Studio Pin Ball Painter 164W

Pinball Painter is a toy that combines paint and balls to encourage the creation of artwork in a slightly less then imaginative, yet fun way. With Pinball Painter, kids do not need to think about their own way to create a work of art. They just sit back, launch balls across a sheet of paper, and let the device create the work for them.
Pinball Painter is a reasonably fun toy and most kids will like flicking the small balls and watching the designs they create. All you do is place a few drops of different colored paints on the balls and/or on the paper, then flick the balls across a sheet of paper by placing each ball into a holder and then pulling back and releasing the plastic tab beneath. The balls come into contact with the paper and release some of the paint sporadically, creating a random work of art in the process.
My girls seem to like this artistic toy and they had fun making the works of art, but it doesn't take long to notice some of the potential problems with this toy. One is the potential for making a mess. The paint is easily washable, but is far too runny. It doesn't stay in place very well and when it transfers itself to the paper, it is still likely to run, which can ruin an otherwise interesting design when the paper is removed. Other issues I have are with the small plastic ballsthey are easily lost, due to their sizeand the lack of colors. Primary colors are all you get and while this is a nice start, other, fancier shades would have been more fun.
Pinball Painter is good for its encouragement of artistic creation and it's a decent toy overall that can produce some interesting works of art. A child doesn't really have to use his/her imagination with an artistic toy such as this, and that can be both good and bad. The product is a tad overpriced and it does have some notable flaws, but it is still a good way to pass the time and kids who love art will enjoy it very much.

Premier Heavy-Duty Green Board Wood Trimmer, Cut Up to 20 Sheets

Customer Ratings:
List Price: $159.00
Sale Price: $78.68

This product is advertised as being a heavy duty paper cutter. It isn't heavy duty, the feet and legs are plastic, the Green Board is actually partical board, the blade on the handle flexes, and the rotating shaft that the blade is attached to is incased in plastic for the bearing surface. This is not a HEAVY DUTY unit.
I am very pleased that Amazon refunded the price of the item and the shipping charges without question. They even provided free return shipping.

Janome Sewing Embroidery Machine Bobbins 10ct Pack New

on Monday, August 31, 2015
I am a novice sewer and just bought a new Janome Magnolia sewing machine from amazon.com. A couple of weeks into my sewing projects, I realized that the four bobbins that came with the machine just weren't going to cut it. I couldn't find Janome bobbins on any of the typical sewing websites so I bit the bullet and bought a couple of sets of these knowing that I probably could have found them cheaper at a bricks 'n mortar store if I had spent time trying to find them. But now I have 20 bobbins that fit my machine and I can work on lots of new projects without having to worry that I will run out!

The Darice 30 watt soldering iron is a very well made item considering its budget price and works very well for small electronic and home projects. It has a surprisingly substantial AC cord terminated with a grounded plug! Maybe that's the reason it heats up so rapidly. Comes with soft metal stand that can be bent up to the best position. Can't go wrong for this price!

50 Eyelets & Pliers Leatherworking Eyelets Punch Tools

Well, unless you're planning on cutting off the crimp anvils and welding them to a cheap pair of pliers (as I wound up doing), you are going to be gravely disappointed in the flimsy construction of this tool. I tested the tool immediately upon arrival. In crimping the very first eyelet, the force required to crimp it was greater than the tool could withstand. The thin, soft steel of the pliers warped all out of shape as I bore down on the eyelet. It successfully crimped one. To crimp a second eyelet I would have had to spend time trying to return the tool to its original shape. I cannot recommend this product. I would give it zero stars, but Amazon insists I give it at least one. (Amazon, you owe me a star.)

Carhartt Extra Buttons

Customer Ratings:
List Price: $4.99
Sale Price: Price Unavailable
Today's Bonus: 10% Off

These suspender buttons are quite simple to install. It is necessary, however, to make a starter hole in the waistband because the post on the button back is too thick and not sharp enough to push through the material on its own.
The instructions delivered with this product indicate that you should "Push the tack through the underside of the garment, put the tack ofter the button and hit the tack firmly with the hammer"
If your hammer blow is not direct, you will bend the tack rendering it useless. Instead, after putting the tack over the button, hold it in place with a large, flat, pin punch and strike the punch instead. A punch which will work is the largest one in the set sold on the Amazon site. See the set here:
Stanley 16-226 6 Piece Punch Kit
Any flat-bottomed chunk of metal will work. Try a 1/4" or 5/16" bolt instead.
I have used these buttons on dress pants by painting the tacks with a color closely matching color, and putting the buttons on the inside of the waistband instead of the outside; this makes the buttons essentially invisible a requirement for dress suspender buttons.

Reliable 2000U-33 Barracuda Portable Zig-Zag Walking-Foot Sewing
Posted by

on Thursday, July 9, 2015
I was a little worried about buying this machine. The Sailrite machine gets such great reviews, and everywhere I looked at the Relaible machine online this same single review kept showing up bashing it. I couldn't afford $900 for the Sailrite. When I saw the Reliable machine was available at the Defender Industries annual spring sale I went and looked at it. A liveaboard cruising sailor I met at Defender that day owned a Sailrite and had been using it for years. We went over the Reliable machine together and it looked good. He felt it was built the same inside and out as his machine, (including the foot control). At $450 this machine was literally half the price of the Sailrite, and I bought it.
This machine does not come with a carrying/storage case. the Sailrite does, and the case is a bit over $100 to buy separately.
This machine comes with a very basic manual. I think the Sailrite comes with several reference manuals which look like they could be very helpful.
I emailed customer service at Reliable (its in Canada) before buying this machine and got a courteous reply to my question within an hour (I had asked the motor size it wasn't listed anywhere I could find it online it is 1.5 amps). A thorough online search leaves no doubt the customer service on Sailrite is top notch.
I had no trouble sewing multiple layers of heavy fabric with the Reliable 2000U Barracuda machine. It went through 8 layers of Topgun plus a layer of webbing without a hitch. Using the Sailrite anchor riding sail kit and the Barracuda sewing machine, making an anchor riding sail was a breeze! The clutch did not slip at all.
My wife's regular sewing machine is an old Singer Featherweight. It is both beautiful to look at and a pleasure to work with. The fit and finish on the Barracuda is not up to that of the old Singer. The Reliable is not art, but so far it looks to be a solid heavy duty sewing machine well suited for sewing Sunbrella, Sailcloth and canvas.
After a week and a half owning the machine and a single large project (riding sail) and several smaller projects (tool roll, storage bag for auto jumper cables) I am happy with this purchase so far. I would recommend this machine to a friend.

Uchida 1122-12B Le Plume II Double-Ended Markers with Brush

What I like most about Le Plume II is the unique colors they produce. They offer shades of colors that I cannot find anywhere else. I use them for coloring books, so I cannot say how they work on rubber stamps, but in coloring books, the color is smooth as well as easy to blend because of the slow drying time.
One thing I was disappointed by was the extra fine end of these double-ended markers. While it might work fine for rubber stamps, I don't know, but the extra fine end doesn't seem to want to "color" smoothly on a page, even on a small area. However, the brush end actually comes to a pretty fine point, so it ended up not being a huge problem for me personally. Still kinda disappointing that I can only use one end of my double-ended markers!
Overall These markers make me very happy because they offer shades of colors that I have never had before, particularly very light colors with this Pastel set.
Warning If you own another set of Le Plume II markers, beware that they duplicate some colors from set to set. For example Pale Pink is in both the Pastel set and the Basic set. If you buy more than one set, chances are you will have some duplicate markers.

I have historically purchased this paper from Office Depot. I use it to print giclee certificates of authenticity for the fine art reproduction canvases that I make for my clients in my art reproduction business. I was DELIGHTED to discover that Amazon sold it & far less than Office Depot (& that it was eligible for prime shipping!). This is a very fine, quality, solid weight paper that is prefect for high end certificate printing for any purpose. Well worth the price as it adds a really nice value to the final printing application.

This product is amazing. I have a singer featherweight 221 circa 1950, and the original cord on it recently wore out. I ordered this after looking online for repair places and do-it-yourselfs and cringing at the work and money involved. This worked perfectly and it fit into my foot pedal like a dream. No skill in electronics required.

I am sooo glad I bought this machine.. it's really quite easy to use.. within 1/2 hour of unpacking it, I was sewing away! Easy to thread, easy to use, the knee lifter for the presser foot and the auto thread cut are great. Very easy to change the feet, even while you are 'mid stitch'. Everything you would ever need is included. The extension table is a great plus especially since I am a quilter. I previously owned a Janome and wanted to stick with them and this model was a great choice! I highly recommend this machine! The only complaint I would have is the absence of a hard carrying case, although it does come with a soft cover.
