I needed it to be larger, I cant understand why I can not find a gold magnetic clasp. Last year I was able to find one. This one is OK but too small.

My wife loves this thing; but, I assembled it so here is my two cents.
Arrow is an American manufacturer of high quality sewing furniture; but this isn't it. They purchase this from an asian manufacturer and put there name on it. It is particle board construction with the typical assembly hardware (cams, high pitch screws, dowel pins). When ever I assemble this stuff I break out the Titebond glue to stiffen the joints. I used alot of it on this assembly project.
This thing is huge. Make sure you have the room to unfold it. My wife rearainged her sewing room to use this thing. She uses all the surfaces and storage.

Micro Pop Dots 544/Pkg-White, 1/8-Inch

on Sunday, June 28, 2015
Before I discovered these micro pop dots from All Night Media, I was cutting up the quarter-inch adhesive squares from Scrapbook Adhesives, in order to fasten very small decorations to my greeting cards. That was hard on my scissors, and a bit frustrating because I still couldn't cut the squares into really small pieces.
These micro dots solved my problem, and 'pop up' small decorations on my cards, giving them a three-dimensional quality. See customer image above for an example of a birthday card that has 15 micro dots adhering to the lizards' feet and tails.
These dots aren't perfect. They're a bit hard to pry up. I finally developed a method of squeezing down the matrix around a dot while simultaneously prying up the dot with my fingernail.
Each card contains 544 pop dots 1/8" diameter x 1/16" thick.

This is the best gun out there. A friend of mine purchased a "similar" one for $50 on another site and when it was delivered it was not even close to the quality of this one. It costs a little more than some but can be used daily without an problems. I poor a little water into the gun and blow it out after each use for a short term cleaning. Once a week I input a cleaner into the gun and blow it out to really clean out any gunk that may be hidding inside the needles.
Most importantly, I would purchase the recommended brushes to clean. DO NOT USE TOWELS OR PAPER PRODUCTS TO CLEAN. The tiny fibers will come off and can clog the needle. You can't get them out and will have to replace your needles.
Definitely recommend this product!!!

It is hard to know what you are going to get online. Honestly, though, with the packaging the way it is now-a-days you really don't get much better access to hands-on in the store. Anyway, I'm really, really pleased with this 2-pack of scissors. They might be the sharpest pairs(s) I've ever held in my hands. The hinge action is ultra-smooth, they are unnaturally light and just have the overall feel of something exceptional. They feel like they might last forever.

I've had mixed results with this tool sometimes, the snap fastens perfectly, but other times, I need to remove the snap, try to bend the prongs back, and try it again. Even when the two sides of the snap are put into the tool correctly, you're never sure that it'll line up just right.
There's just enough "play" in the alignment of the two sides, that it can cause the snaps to join crookedly.. Sorry, but not recommended.

Avery Printable Fabric for Inkjet Printers, 8.5 x 11 Inches

List Price: $18.99
Sale Price: $12.22
Today's Bonus: 36% Off
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Printable fabric sheets have been around for years, but improvements are being made every year. (There are STILL some really bad ones out there ...) Given the brand name recognition (Avery) and having had less than great results from similar products (I name only one below), I HAD to check out Avery Personal Creations Printable Fabric.
First Impressions:
1) The Product Itself: It is the stiffest fabric paper I have ever used. Instantly, I realized this could be both a huge plus and a big negative; this product is best suited for certain crafts (totes, framed pieces, scrapbooking, anything else where rigid is a good thing) and not for others (wearables, quilts, pillows)
2) The Image: For me, the single most important quality about printable fabric is the image reproduction. (Everything else I can work around, like fraying or thinness.) Granted, results can vary hugely, depending on your printer and the specific printer settings. When I used the "automatic" option for paper type and used the "best" quality option for printing, the end result using this Avery Printable Fabric was hands-down the very best I have ever seen.
Good Things To Know About This Product:
1) It is for Inkjet printers ONLY
2) There is no backing to peel off from the fabric sheet
3) It is Sew-in or Iron-on (unlike interfacings, this can be either/or); "Iron On" means ironing activates the glue, and NOT that this is an image transfer product that uses an iron to put the image on another surface
4) It's available (currently) in only one color a pleasing white (some other brands offer off-white)
5) This is not an image transfer product
6) When Avery claims "washable", their instructions really state "for best results, hand wash"
7) As with similar products, you need to let the printed image dry for at least 24 hours; even then, some image smearing can occur from simple handling
Personal Tips from Prior Experience With Printable Fabrics:
1) Read/follow all manufacturer's instructions; check website for more info/FAQs or reviews from other customers
2) Place only one sheet at a time in your printer
3) If not using the glue aspect, ie, you are sewing it in, keep in mind future ironing of the finished item the glue may adhere to parts of the project you never intended not good!!
4) If using color, try to use new/fresh color ink cartridge
5) ALWAYS do a test using plain printer paper first, to check for correct image placement, to test paper feed, and to test printer settings; know which is the image-side of the product (usually the matte side)
6) If applicable, keep seam allowances in mind
7) If using as an iron-on, make sure to PRESS and not really iron; both the fabric and thus the image itself can distort if you do too much side-to-side ironing. Just press the image with an up and down motion
8) Plan ahead for multiple projects; fit as many images as possible onto one sheet to make the best cost advantage
The Ultimate Test:
Unfortunately, the full test of this product will require months of time * and usage to determine:
1) how the image is retained and whether the fabric yellows over time. (I had to throw out several projects where I used Milliken's Printable Treasures because the images yellowed horribly.)
2) how the finished product withstands several washings and ironings (read my notes about HAND washing and ironing above!)
* Update 10/1/2012: I am still thrilled with the color quality on my simple little project. (I will post a photo soon.) The colors are still rich and deep, just like the very first day of printing. Of course, my project is not washable that will be my next experiment, and I will post an update as to how that goes.
The Downside:
At the time of this writing, Avery has not answered user questions on their website that are over 6 months old. I mention this not as an indication of the product quality, per se, but in case you need more information. You might do better going elsewhere, such as guilds, discussion groups, online user reviews, etc. for answers to any questions.
The Bottom Line:
For some crafts where rigidity can be an asset, and for near-perfect image reproduction, these Avery Printable Fabric cotton sheets are ideal.

Singer Prelude 8280 Sewing Machine

I love this machine! I am a beginner and this machine offers both the simplicity a beginner needs and the added features when you move on such as button hole capabilty, various degrees of zig-zag stitching, reverse stitching. My mom was an experienced seamstress and I just never paid attention. Now that she is gone I took interest. I just completed my first project, pajamas and wound up using the extra features provided by this machine. A neighbor inquired where I bought the pj's, all because of these extra features which made the garment look more professional. Now onward and forward! Let's see where my Singer takes me.

3M 256-1/2 Scotch 256 Printable Flatback Paper Tape, 12x55, 3

This tape has some special characteristics no other tape quite matches. It is essentially an artist's tape and one can easily write on it using a variety of pens. The adhesive holds it firmly in place, yet it can be removed (for example: if used to label and then relabel videotapes, it easily pulls off without doing any damage). The price for a roll of this tape is all over the place, some as high as $20 per roll!! Amazon's price is one of the most reasonable and the delivery is reliable and quick.

This is an excellent paper, just the right weight--45 lb.--for posters and printing on a 13 x 19 printer. Color looks nearly perfect--I usually have to bring up the exposure level or brightness in another program before printing to this matte finish. Price per sheet is less than comparable weights, other brands. Very professional look--like straight off an offset press. OK, I'm exaggerating a bit--but you get great results at probably a 60% discount to a commercial printer for short runs--like the 50 or 100 I do at a time, once you figure the cost of the ink too. It goes fast on this paper.

Clamp-on Stand Table-mount Four Airbrush Holder Station
Posted by
Unknown
The product's box doesn't keep the parts of this stand together during shipping. The upper cradle assembly easily separates from the plastic base, and the two lower cradles are friction-fitted into the base. The steel clamp slides out of the base. When you open the product box, all of the components will be loose in the box, and therefore, you might end up with a beat-up stand like I did. Mine came with a slightly bent clamp, and some of the rubber coating on the upper cradle was torn.
With the aid of an adjustable wrench, I had the clamp straightened out and the stand mounted on my table.
The base has a grippy rubber bottom; once clamped, it doesn't budge. Unfortunately, the upper cradle assembly just slides loosely into the base, so if you're grabbing one of your airbrushes from the cradle assembly, your second airbrush will be jostled, and therefore, you might spill some paint.
The upper cradles will hold any type of airbrush, including side-feed airbrushes, like my Badger 100IL. The lower two cradles only hold gravity-feed or bottom-feed airbrushes. I pulled out the lower cradles because they actually get in the way of the hoses for the airbrushes mounted up top, and there's too much risk of a hose knocking or even pulling out an airbrush out of a lower cradle.
The bracket for the regulator is sized for the standard regulator/water-trap that seems to be sold under various brand-names -Badger, Paasche, Airbrush Depot, Master Airbrush, etc. If your regulator is missing the panel nut required to mount it in this holder's bracket, then search for "Interstate Pneumatics WP1130PN Panel Mount Nut for Regulator W1130" here on Amazon.

No secrets to this product, but it does exactly what you expect it to do quite nicely. I work out of my home, and I hate sitting at my desk all day, so I figured I'd give this a try. I put it at the end of my regular desk. It has enough room for my laptop and a legal pad etc. side-by-side. I put an old wire mesh telephone stand I had kicking around on it to raise and angle my laptop even more. I love the setup, it's solid and secure, and really doesn't look too funky.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is that I wish it had some height adjustability. I'd still like to raise it another 6 inches, I notice my neck starting to hurt a bit after a long day standing at the thing, and I think it's because I'm still slumping over a bit to use it. I'd also like it better if there were a way to hide cables (power cords, USB cables, etc.). Those two nits aside, this thing is well worth the money.
