Bias Tape Binding Foot, Low Shank #6287 LOW Shank Tape Binding

I'm pretty convinced that the right tool for the job can simplify anything. This bias tape foot is easy to use and effective. It is for simple fabrics and for making narrower tapes. If you are looking for making a blanket width bias tape you will need to either find a different tool or take the time to do it by hand because this tool will not do anything that wide. This has elevated my sewing quite a bit. It has helped me get an even stitch on bias tape edges in a way that all my practice before hasn't.

Purchased this to make indoor soccer team T-shirts worked better than expected! I was a little weary to purchase a cheaper press (most professional-grade presses are expensive!) as our team shirts needed to last through a 2 1/2 month season. We are one month in and the shirts have held up great, even after several washings. I purchased laser printer transfer paper (professional grade not the retail store HP product) and used to transfer the team logo on the front and also purchased thermoflock team numbers to put on the back of the T's no time-consuming ironing needed, just press in this little machine and release. I highly recommend for the amateur team mom that wants to save bucks on team practice shirts/jerseys.

I bought this patch for use on my contractor cap and it's quality is great. After months of wear outside, the velcro is still working fine and the flag still looks great.

I have to admit that I thought that I was getting all three of these you only get shipped one. Photo is misleading.
The mosaic is easy to do and looks very cute in the window. My 5 year old did it all on her own.

Badger Air-Brush Company Standard Fine Needle for Model 105

There's not much to say about the actual item. It's an airbrush needle and it fits the models listed. Something to be aware of however is that Amazon ships these in a yellow bubble envelope that's around 6"x8". You know, the kind that's perfect for letting things flex inside of it. The needle itself is attached to a piece of cardstock and stuck in a thin plastic tube. The first needle arrived bent at a 15ยบ angle. The second one (surprisingly) arrived straight. I really wish they'd ship these in a box instead.

Iwata CUSTOM MICRON CM-C PLUS AIRBRUSH-MAC Valve with FREE AIR

I really, really enjoy using this airbrush. I had trouble manipulating the controls on a Badger years ago, so I went to the simpler Aztec series. When my last Aztec broke, I decided to go back to the more sophisticated Iwata style airbrush .... I wish I had made the leap sooner.
After I overcame a bit of the learning curve in manipulating the needle control, I found I could paint very precise patterns with this airbrush. Additionally, even though I have a variable psi setting on the compressor, I found the ability to regulate air flow near the head of this brush perfect for fine tuning air pressure --especially as I'll normally use slightly different viscosity paints.
This brush is more expensive than most, but I still consider it an excellent value as it has allowed me to accomplish paint schemes with this airbrush that I couldn't previously achieve.

The nozzle was an exact fit. The Iwata is one of the best air brushes out there so after I dropped mine and ruined the nozzle I really needed to replace. I know the neo isnt made where the other high dollar airbrushes are but it is still a great airbrush.

Cuttlebug Replacement Cutting Mat B, 2 Mats

on Monday, December 22, 2014
We use the Cuttlebug my mother-in-law and myself for making greeting cards and much more. These B plates work great, I only wish they would last longer when they are cut against, when making 100 Christmas Cards or Birthday Cards, it's hard to make that many cuts with one plate before it gets too many cuts in it and you need to switch to a new one. Plus once it's "spent" there isn't any real use for it. I will look into seeing if the company has a recycling program, but I don't think they do.
Thank you kindly,
Leah

Brother SA560 Embroidery Machine 10 Spool Thread Stand

This 10 spool thread stand works perfectly and does exactly what it is advertised to do. Although it is totally plastic I found it to be as sturdy and as well constructed as the two thread stand which came with my Baby Lock Ellisimo machine. I installed it and keep it in place on my machine all the time and use it every time I embroider whether I'm stitching with 1 thread or 10 threads. I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend this item.

Red Carpet Studios Hobo Bag with Matching Scarf, Floral Creme

I recently purchased some orange corduroys and was looking for an accessory that would tie them together with whatever else I chose to wear with them. This scarf and bag set caught my eye and I haven't been disappointed in them at all. The material has a very silky soft feel to it, the colors are vibrant and gorgeous and the scarf really dresses up anything I wear it with.
Currently I'm totally rocking my orange cords with a navy or white t-shirt and the scarf plus a little denim jacket and have gotten rave compliments from friends and strangers alike on my outfit. The bag itself is very roomy and perfect for going to the beach or gym when I need a soft tote to stash items like towels and clothing for easy carrying.
This is a genius idea and I hope the company makes more colors and patterns with these hobo bags and matching scarves.

This controller is for the Janome 5001, so make sure that you order the one with the right connector. It seems identical to the original which I managed to completely wear out. It's made out of metal, and while not fancy, I expect that it will do the job for the next 25 years. After that, I'll pass the machine on to someone else who can use and appreciate it for another season. These things are built like tanks.
Singer Tiny Serger Overedging Machine

Just bought one of these little machines (used) and was not expecting much. In fact, I thought for sure I was going to regret the $45 I spent on it.
But, after a few tweaks here and there, I was able to thread the machine ~NOT as hard as I kept hearing everyone say
I thought it would take me hours to figure it out and it only took 10 minutes!
I plugged it in and starting sewing immediately!
It is a really nice small size and can sit on my sewing table without taking up a ton of the space.
I will be using it to make tiny doll clothing, so the fact that it does not come with a "cutter"
is not a problem as doll clothes use 1/4" seam anyway.
Definitely worth the $45 dollars!

List Price: $16.49
Sale Price: $10.79
Today's Bonus: 35% Off

I have wanted this punch for a couple months and I finally got it today. I now see that the reviews before me are right, it does punch a very small slot. The slots are 3/16th of an inch and here I am with all this great ribbon that is 3/8 of an inch. The only ribbon this punch is designed for is gift ribbon, the shinny stuff you curl with your scissors. I found that if you punch your edge you have a little over 3/8 of an inch to the edge of the paper. So you can flip over the punch, use it upside down and going back through and lining it up, you can punch a second time to make the slot almost double its original size. It takes a bit of practice but it can be done and even if your slots aren't exactly lined up, the ribbon covers the holes well. So, while it is a little extra work to get those great patterned 3/8 inch ribbon to work with it, it comes out nice after its done. Good luck ladies!

I bought this machine from a JoAnn store after having a horrible experience with a cheaper Singer model ("ProFinish" 14CG754). I already have a Brother 1034D, which I absolutely love, as well as a compact/cheap Kenmore model, but I wanted a machine that could do more (cover stitch, etc.). I've been using this machine almost daily for a month, and my observations are:
Threading takes time but isn't difficult (especially with the tweezers and proper lighting).
It hasn't broken any needles, skipped stitches, caught the fabric or otherwise misbehaved.
The automatic tension settings seem to work well and you can manually adjust if needed.
It is much more quiet than cheaper machines, and feels very sturdy/solid during operation.
The PDF files on the included CD are numerous and not very easy to comprehend, but the included paper manual is well illustrated and thorough.
The included set of tools and accessories is very thorough, also has just about every type of presser foot you could need for any project.
Thus far the only thing that disappointed me is that it has no free-arm capability -which would make things like cuffs, hats and such easier; but that's not a huge problem. Also you must use serger needles, you can't use regular sewing machine needles (like the Brother 1034D).
If I run into problems or defects I will update this review, but so far I am pleased with this machine.
