Handy Art by Rock Paint 271-040 Powder Tempera, 1-Pound, Violet
This concentrated paint tempera is great for marking a running trail while still being biodegradable. I mixed mine ith flour to quite a bit, but the color still stood out well. I'm sure it would be good for painting also.

I had never done free-motion quilting before I bought this. It was super easy to attach to my Brother sewing machine. It took me a little bit of practice to get the hang of it (I did stipple quilting on a baby quilt) but it wasn't that hard. It did make a squeaking noise while I sewed. I'm not sure if it was my machine or the foot. I recommend getting some quilting gloves that help you grip the fabric as you move it. My hands and wrists got sore from gripping the fabric for so long.
Janome Blue Sewing Machine Bobbins with Storage Case
All arrived as expected, and the bobbins work perfectly in my Janome machine. But users of blue (or pink,etc) bobbins should be aware of the slight difficulty in perceiving thread color when looking through a case full of color tinted bobbins.
Tandy 100pc 5mm Silver Plated Glass Rhinestones Rivet Tack
I was looking for a great deal for a new project when I stumbled upon these. I ordered several different colors, I was pleased that they arrived pretty quickly and allowed me to request 3 different colors to make up the 100pcs. The silver coloring on the metal is too shiny. Many of the gems were out of the actual rivet. I have to glue them back in before I can put my project together. Save time and money and look for a better product. You will thank me later.
Cricut Fancy Frames Cartridge
I do a lot of scrapbooking and thought this cartridge would help make beautiful pages. There is no way of knowing what size frame you are going to end up with and I have not found any setting that will work with a 4x6 photo. The frames I have cut tear so easily that I have yet to be able to use any of the fancy ones. I have looked on the internet for tutorials using this cartridge and there are none. I would not buy this unless you have a lot of paper you are willing to waste. I have tried cardstock and scrapbook sheets. Same problem with both.

This machine is very similar to the popular CS 6000 that's sold both here in Amazon and in Walmart. In fact they both use the same manual. The difference between the 2 are: CS6000 has an start/stop button so you can operate the machine w/o foot pedal, quilting accessories such as walking foot and larger table extension, needle up/down button, faster bobbin winding, 2 speeds, a hard cover and some extra fancy stitches. I don't care about these missing features. I sewed my own cloth cover using left over fabric. To me this little machine has all the functionality that I ever wanted from a sewing machine. All the utility stitches are there sewing buttons and button holes (1-step), zippers, elastic, overlock, zig zag, satin, blah blah blah everything you need to sew a dress or a pillow case, plus more. If you quilt a lot buy the CS6000 one. Threading is super easy because the direction is printed right on the machine. The automatic needle threader is very helpful. I use it every time. My only complaint is that the thread tends to slip out of the needle hole unless I leave a very long "tail". This happened w/ CS6000 too when I tried it at a friend's house. With both models you can specify if the needle is left up or down when sewing stops. Both needs no oiling (probably mostly plastic parts?) I haven't sewed very heavy fabric yet. The LED light is very dim but cool. You definitely need a real lamp nearby. You can leave the machine on for a long time because the light uses very little energy. If you do turn it off, all the custom stitch settings will be lost (no memory). So far I am very happy with this machine.

3-IN-ONE Motor Oil, 3 oz.
This amazing 3-in-oil in the blue bottle labeled for "MOTOR OIL" is essential for all activities when rebuilding AC or DC motors especially for fan restoration projects. Don't purchase the "RED 3-in-1" as it contains Naptha. The Naptha gets the dirt in suspension then evaporates leaving dirt on the bearing surface, like detergents. Not good idea for motors! Great, inexpensive lubricant for all 20wt. motor applications.
Fiskars 195990-1001 Portable Paper Trimmer Replacement Blades

I ordered the wrong thing.....I think. There are two distinct styles of blades for the Fiskars Personal Paper Trimmer. "Original (Style G)" and "Triple Track (Style 1)". Blades referred to as "High Profile" refer to the improved Triple Track (Style 1) blade. This is very unclear when ordering from any vendor. The seller needs to show a profile view of the blade. I will post photos of all 3 blade styles.
Also, a 2-pack can mean 1 cutting blade & 1 scoring blade, or it can mean 2 cutting blades. To me the scoring blade was useless. Some people might be able to use it for folding. I just want to trim paper and photos.
As far as I can tell, item #95** = Old style, and item #96** = triple track.

Clover Kantan Couture Bead Embroidery Tool Needle Refill-Single
I've previously bought tambour needle set that requires quite a bit of practice so I decided maybe I will give this product a try. Received the product and found out that the body is flat as oppose to my old needle, which like ordinary crochet needles has a round body. Placed it into my wooden handle and it was working great. It did not come loose while I'm working with it.
It is so easy to use compare to the ones without the latch. Of course I am not implying that the more traditional needles with no latch is not preferred. But this one, in my opinion, is much more preferred for amateurs like me who just wanted to do bead embroidery without the extensive practice.

Reliable MSK-588 Portable Blindstitch Sewing Machine
I had learned on industrial machines back in design school, but when I opened my business, portable industrial machines were not yet available and I couldn't afford thousands for a stand alone hemmer. When Babylock introduced their home-model I purchased it gladly. I was content for many years. It was easy and quick, but the stitches were obvious because of the straight needle, no matter what the depth level. It was a pretty machine, had a good long life, but was no power house.
When it came time to retire it, I researched the now portable industrial hemming machines. It was a toss-up between this one and the Tac-Sew. The reviews swayed me towards the Reliable. (that, and the price) It was everything stated and more! It is not as quick to thread as my BabyLock, but it isn't as slow either! I have to learn to control the speed! It is a compact, tight, and efficient work horse, a solid piece of machinery. The stitches are beautiful and I can alter the depth easily. Changing the frequency/stitch length is more of a challenge as you need to remove a plate on the side to access the dial. Switching from the easy-to-control flat work surface of the Babylock to the clamp and curved needle was all about practice and control, but the results are worth it. The threading, needle changing, and final stitch-lock position are not hard to master. The curved needle makes all the difference in invisibility. I highly recommend it.

AS is the case with so many small office products, the replacement parts are hard to find in stores. I was pleased to discover these here on Amazon, at a great price and they arrived very quickly.
GL-4 Small Laminator
It doesn't look like these are really available anymore, but I have one that I use for light crafting fairly regularly. It runs well and easily, doesn't take up much space and it's perfect for the small things I laminate. It does have limits to how thick a laminating sleeve you can use with it, and you need to let it warm up completely and mine at least doesn't have a light or anything to show it's completely warmed up.

I completely disagree with the previous poster. This kit is very basic but once you figure out the secret you can get ribbon and make your own bows that look like the pricey ones in the fancy boutiques. My 7 year old and my 10 year old loves it. It was nice that it didn't need any other tools or items to make a lovely bow holder and 4 exquisite bows. The premise is simple and the easy to follow instructions add to its charm.
