Jesse James Beads 5926 Design Elements Shanghai Express

These beads do not come close to reflecting the colors shown in the photos. They are, instead, a dark, muted pink, taupe, and peachy-pink. There are exactly 6 glass beads, 8 6mm acrylic beads, with the balance being plastic and one with plastic "rhinestones." However, if that is what you're looking for in material, they do look pretty if you don't look too close. Obviously, I was less than thrilled but you get what you pay for!

Having painted professionally for 7 years and used this tape for various projects over the years, this is the best quality you can get. Easy on and off, even with painting. I have been able to pull off the tape (up to 5 feet) without any problems two days after the paint dries. Other brands seems to be lesser quality and more susceptible to resistance from coming off.

The images on this cartridge are a little complex & do require some time and patience to assemble, but they are simply ADORABLE for any sort of little-boy scrapbook pages or cards and they have a wonderful old fashioned feel with the classic images of childhood. Every one of these images makes me smile :)

Master Airbrush Model G78 Single-Action Gravity Feed Air

Delivery on this item was incredibly fast. Order placed on Thursday and my package arrived Saturday via FedEx.
Sandblaster tool is very well crafted. Light enough to control easily but heavy enough to not feel cheap. Plenty of control and modulation with a nice comfortable feel.
Comes with abrasive grit which works great for my glass etching needs. For larger areas you'll probably want something with a wider swath but i'm working with small areas which are masked off by vinyl stickers. Pinpoint precision at close rage with a max affective range of about 3" for a swath about 1/4" (at 65psi). You can get heavier grit for more aggressive blasting but the grit that came in the kit works just fine.
I ended up being very surprised with how well this little blaster kit works. "Virtually" plug and play.
I would give this a 5-star review however the kit does not offer any easy option (adapter) to connect to standard 1/4" NPT fittings (common air compressor fittings). I ended up searching my local hardware stores for an adapter for the end of the supplied hose and found nothing. Ended up cutting one end of the hose and using a 1/4" NPT to 1/8" barbed brass fitting with small zip ties to clamp the hose on. Not a big deal once everything was said and done but it would be nice of the supplier could offer or even recommend an adapter for the hose. Not a big fan of having to modify something right out of the box to get it to work but the tool works great so not a big loss.
Small air compressors are available to connect right to the supplied hose but if you're like any normal Joe with a basic garage you'll end up using your garage air compressor.
I recommend you get a brass 1/4 to 1/8 barbed fitting, a secondary regulator (40-65psi operating range 65psi max), and inline moisture trap. All that can be had for under 20$ but necessary for long-term use of this sand blaster.
Summary:
Great product, just not exactly plug and play. Highly recommended for small hobby tasks.

The easiest way to re-thread film is to tape it to a piece of long paper and feed it through using it as a guide. It takes only minutes and keeps it from sticking to the opposite roller. Remember to feed the film so the shiny side touches the heated rollers. Once threaded it does an excellent job.

ArtSkills Poster Flash

I have never written a negative review but in this case beware! I bought the art skills string of lights for a poster and love it! The string of lights were easy to insert into my board, the lights showed up great and made a wonderful display. So based on my experience with the company's other product I bought the flashing stars. I found them cheaply made, very hard to switch the switch on the side and then no flashing lights on any of them! I could understand one not working as a "fluke" but all of them?!!! Not a happy teacher and will not buy any more or recommend them to other staff members! I really wanted them to work and loved the idea on being able to put them any were and being reuseable. I hope the company can try again making a better product.

Badger Air-Brush Company Winged Back Lever for Model 175

Through my failure to once again disassemble an airbrush while working over a box to catch parts, I managed to lose the lever out of a Chinese airbrush, one of those no spare parts available things. I really like the airbrush, and these are the only replacement levers I could find. They are very large, much bigger than would fit in my airbrush. Fortunately, I had one to copy and discovered that these are plated brass and it was easy to work down the size with a file. Price was reasonable and free shipping and most importantly available. Thank you to the vendor who offers these.

If you use this for makeup and have problems with your guns clogging, this is the airbrush for you. There is a knob on the end that twists and allows thicker product to go through. It's my go to gun for alcohol based makeup and I'll never use anything else.

Brother Compact Sewing Machine Fashion Faces Decorative Skins

I ordered this machine because the one I had only did forward and reverse and zig-zag and I have had it for 20 years and it still works very well,It to is a Brother. I started doing applique quilting and needed a machine that had more stitches so I ordered this machine. It was everything I had expected and it was a good price at $60.00. I priced a new one and found it was over a hundred dollars. This machine would be perfect even for a beginner. It is easy to use and can handle alot of different materials. I would highly recomend this machine.
Janome Artistic Monogram Software V6

For the price, the program has a lot to offer. Loved being able to use TT fonts. I have found that software usually includes only 5 or 6 fonts that I really like, and I could spend more money buying different alphabets. Not with this program, you get to use the fonts on your computer. It was easy to use and most of all, it sewed out perfectly with no gaps between stitches. By selecting the fabric you are going to use, it creates the underlay based on that type of material.

These were too small to use. The picture was deceptive. They were cheap so they just got tossed rather than trying to return them. I have had problems getting lanyard hooks from two sources so I may go back to retail for this item.

Uniquely You Your Shape Pinnable Dressform - Medium

on Friday, October 17, 2014
I am 5'7', 32 years old, mother of two, and have never had a model that actually looked like me. I could never even find one that mimicked my measurement, let alone my shape! I have an extra lumbar vertebrae, large breasts, and a full bottom. My current measurements are 39x29x44. I chose the medium sized form to fit my bust and waist, knowing that I would need to add gussets and extra padding for my bottom. This was a good choice, because even the medium was difficult to squeeze to 29" at the waist and my extra bottom inches are almost all out the back.
I did all the fitting myself, except for a little help from my husband. It took all one day. Would have been faster and easier with a skilled friend to help, but I did not want to wait. All the seams had to be reinforced with gross-grain ribbon (see pictures) because the fabric wanted to rip at the waist seams. I was able to take in bits all over, even mimicking the slight bulge at the front top of my thighs.
I am very happy with the results and am already using it to fix unfinished projects. I like long, full, pleated dresses and fitted bodices. I can finally finish fancy clothing for myself! This is the best dressmaker's model ever!

Janome Sewing Machine Presser Foot Storage Box

on Wednesday, October 1, 2014
...there is no picture available for this item. Basically I bought it sight unseen, but had confidence it would be fine because of the Janome name.
It was perfect. There are several specific "cutouts" for putting specific feet. They're labeled A, E, F, etc. There is a small closed compartment and then a larger open compartment.
I (having waaaay too much time on my hands), went to my favorite "all things sewing" website and printed pictures of all the presser feet I have (it's a lot!). Then I taped the pictures with names (ie, "piping foot") to the lid of the box as a "map" (think BIG boxes of chocolates!) of which presser feet are where.
It's great! Glad I bought it and the price was right as well.

These are very nicely painted British Regular and Continental Army soldiers. The British have black facings which would make them either the 64th, 70th or 82nd regiment of foot. The Continental are blue with red facings the uniform first received in September of 1778 while the army was at Valley Forge and the official uniform from 1779 to the end of the war. Be warned though the description says they are 2 inches which would make them 54 mm they are really about 35 mm. The description stated 1 1/2 to 2 inches tall. The standing figure is less than 1 1/2 tall and the office reaches 1 3/4 only if you measure to the top of his sword.

Instant Zipper- Set of 4 Replacement Zippers in Black
Posted by

on Monday, June 23, 2014
I thought I'd have to find a cobbler not an easy task in the rural area I live in to fix a zipper on my leather notebook briefcase. Decided to try this kit. They provide four replacement zippers and easy to follow instructions. The first challenge is to remove the broken zipper. I used an old hand-held wire cutter and it worked fine. HOWEVER, put a cloth over the top of the zipper because, when the old zipper snaps in two, the upper half becomes airborn and could injure someone or do other damage. The new zipper snaps onto the track quickly, and that's that! Quick, easy, perfect!

As the only female at my shop, I already stand out. But when I got this tool box, I stood out even more as it's not the traditional red or black or yellow. This tool box is stylish, functional, durable, and most of all PINK. I use it everyday at work and it hold its own. The guys at my job don't even mind carrying it for me once in awhile (guess their confident in their manhood). I have been using this for about 2 years and it has never let me down. It has tons of storage and extra pockets inside and out. If something ever happens to this tool bag, I'll be right back here looking to order the exact same one.
