I've seen some people complain about this being plastic, but I don't see why it matters. It's sturdy enough, fits my Singer perfectly and hasn't had any damage after at least a half-dozen uses so far. I couldn't find an invisible zipper foot for my machine from any of my local stores, so finding this here was a life-saver!

Singer Even Feed / Walking Foot #006185008-P
After reading scads of books on quilting and machine quilting, I broke down and bought a walking foot for my very inexpensive Singer Simple machine. This food is not made by Singer, but is high quality none the less. It made machine quilting so much easier than I ever thought possible. The material, including the batting, cruised under the foot like a dream. I have left it on the machine for small sewing projects as well and have found it makes thicker material easier to sew. I highly recommend this item for every machine!
Janome MC-6300P Professional Heavy-Duty Computerized Quilting
I ordered this sewing machine after having to return the Singer Sewing Machine that I ordered a few days before. I wrote a long review on why the Singer machine was returned, so I won't bother with that here.
I already have one Janome Machine, a Magnolia. It's a great machine and I haven't had any problems with it but I sew everyday and I wanted a machine with more features. Specifically a faster machine, an automatic thread cutter and a knee lift. This machine has delivered all those items and more. I love this machine. I have had no problems with it and have sewen three quilts and several other projects since I received it. I love that it came with and extension table (they cost around $100 to buy separately). It also comes with alot of different feet and a nice case to organize everything in.
I love the automatic thread cutter and the knee lift, they save me tons of time. This machine is very fast and not too loud. The bobbin winder works very well and you can wind bobbins while sewing as there is a separate motor. I was able to unpack and set it up quickly. It is very easy to use, I flipped through the instruction booklet to make sure I threaded it correctly and I was able to sew with it right away. This machine is kinda heavy, so If you want a machine you can cart around with you then take that into consideration, also this is not a free arm machine, I don't sew clothing so that doesn't bother me but it might bother someone who does sew clothing. I would highly recommend this machine!!

I was a little disappointed as I expected some great tehnique for producing origami beads by folding the paper. This "kit" provides materials for placing origami paper over wooden beads and then applying a shellaq product (not included). The beads are beautiful--just different from what I expected.

The original battery was a Renata 315. I never heard of Renata before and found out that the batteries are made in Switzerland and are used in a number of brand name watches. So I place the order at Amazon.

Dreamworld Table for Janome Sewing Machine AQS2009, 720 & 760
I've been using this table for a couple of months now. It was easy to fit on my Janome Jem Platium 760 sewing machine. It's made sewing easier. There is less effort on my part to keep the fabric in line with the foot and needle as I'm sewing. The embedded ruler with measurements in centimeters and inches has been very useful. I wish I had purchased it a while ago.
I didn't have any problem with the seller. I received the table in a timely manner and it arrived in perfect condition. I would buy from this seller again.

Badger Air-Brush Company Sotar Number 1 Spray Regulator, Fine
Badger has been pretty fickle with quality control regarding the spray regulators, especially the ones with the protective arms (not pictured). I had to buy five to end up with three that fit-the other two would have stripped the threads on my Sotar 2020. At first I thought it was just me, but when some went on easily and others not at all... No, it's them. Otherwise Badger gets my endorsement, but that one problem has me thinking about Iwata next time.
Zipper Rescue Kit, YKK #10 Antique Brass Slider (1 Slider/pack)
I do love this, but it ( 1 in pack) is much larger than this pic and the loop is rounded, not squared. It is about 2" long and 1/2" wide. I had to order a different kit with smaller slides after I rec'd this one, but I'm keeping it for another repair.
ArtSkills Poster Flash
I have never written a negative review but in this case beware! I bought the art skills string of lights for a poster and love it! The string of lights were easy to insert into my board, the lights showed up great and made a wonderful display. So based on my experience with the company's other product I bought the flashing stars. I found them cheaply made, very hard to switch the switch on the side and then no flashing lights on any of them! I could understand one not working as a "fluke" but all of them?!!! Not a happy teacher and will not buy any more or recommend them to other staff members! I really wanted them to work and loved the idea on being able to put them any were and being reuseable. I hope the company can try again making a better product.

THE OLD
I was never entirely happy with my Germanmade Rowenta which had a water retention problem. It was so bad that on the higher steam settings my clothes would get soaked on a regular basis, and when it started to stain my white clothes I just looked for an upgrade.
THE NEW
Two new Singer models advertised an antidrip mechanism; this one and the Expert Finish. According to Singer's website, the models are similar except for the LCD and more temperature levels on the Expert Finish. I'm from the "keep it simple" school of thought, so I forewent the wizardry and picked this version.
THE GOOD
As expected, the iron is easy to use. Pressing the power button cycles through the four temperature levels, lighting up the appropriate label on the handle. I really like that the temperature label blinks while the iron is not yet at the correct temperature, a useful gimmick which even works in reverse: for example, if you iron cotton and then switch to synthetics, the new label blinks while the iron cools down! The water retention feature works perfectly well, too: the only time it would fail and wet my clothes is when the iron hadn't achieved the set temperature yet (blinking label). Featurewise, we also have a dependable auto-sleep (as far as I can tell after ~1 year of use) and a cleanse function. Most importantly, I think the handling is good: the iron always slides nicely; and it's neither too heavy nor too light for my taste.
THE NOT SO GOOD
This iron is powerful, and perhaps a little too much so: with the light and TV on, the 20A breaker would trigger in my home. I solved this by running an extension cord to an extra circuit, but that's not convenient in every setup perhaps Singer didn't think of our weaker American household voltage? Also, the water retention mechanism occasionally makes a VERY startling noise, which sounds quite precisely like a fuse blowing. As for steam, I'd say it's sufficient but certainly not abundant even on maximum, so you'll have to press the burst button over wrinkles (which does work ok). Finally on the negative side, I find all four buttons (power, spray, burst, cleanse) hard to press.
THE VERDICT
The "not good" list seems long, but all in all this is a great iron which easily puts my Rowenta to shame, and at barely half the price! "I love it", i.e. five stars, is doing it justice in my opinion.
Sizzix System- Die Cutting Machine
I purchased the Sizzix Original Die Cutter (the red monster) because I was looking for an affordable way to precision cut wool felt for applique purposes. The machine arrived quickly, and it included to die cuts that I did not expect to receive. I had concerns that the machine might not be able to cut fabric, being instead a scrapbooking tool. I immediately tried it out on wool felt and was impressed by the quality of the cut. I folded the wool felt twice to see if it would be possible to make multiple cuts, and it performed without a problem. Tried a four-fold and again, the machine cut perfectly. Four-folds would be the limit for felt due to the thickness and the ability to slip the die under the machine, but each of the four cuts was clean and perfect. I selected the Original because I thought I might have more control over the cutting and placement of the fabric as opposed to the more automatic machines in which the fabric/paper rolls through by use of a drum roller. I really like the ability to control the Original with the pull lever, giving me more control over the cutting process. The Original machine does have limitations due to the available die patterns, the newer larger machines seem to have more pattern options, but if you are looking for the basic die cutter I would strongly recommend the Origial Sizzix. The price is very reasonable and if you shop the Sizzix site you can purchase a wide variety of original die patterns for bargin prices on Tuesdays. If you are new to the die cutter world, and if you are satisfied with the options offered by the original die patterns, then I would highly recommend this machine. Best needlework purchase I have made this year!

Singer Regular Point Needles- Size 11
If you are sewing light fabrics, you might wish to try a size 11 needle, as manufactured by Singer. Especially if the fabric is satin or satin-like and is "pulling" when the needle enters it. By what I understand, the size 11 needle is rather reserved for serging work but, it doesn't "have to be exclusively so" if you've a mind to use it for regular sewing projects. It works for me.
