I love this kind of resin because it's very easy to mix and use. It also doesn't have a strong smell, but I still recommend working in a well-ventilated area. It comes in two bottles, and you mix equal amounts to do your pour, much like epoxy glue but in larger amounts. I use unwaxed paper cups to mix it, and wooden stirring sticks.

My only problem with this resin compared to the kind with catalyst is that it can be harder to unmold if you aren't using it with silicone or molds made for resin. I like using the wells in spot type watercolor dishes. Even using mold release spray, I wound up having to break one to get all the castings out. However, if you are using the suggested products like silicone molds or molds made specifically for resin, that doesn't happen.

I also haven't had much problems with air bubbles as long as I don't stir or pour too fast.

Takes between 24-48 hours to cure completely. Takes about 12 hours to get to click hard, but if you unmold at click hard and you aren't careful you can wind up with finger prints.

This product fixed a subwoofer. The styrofoam surrounding the cone had cracked on a small section. Applied this liberally; seems to work so far. Certainly beats purchasing a new subwoofer. Very happy so far.

Before reading, please understand that this is my fist sewing machine. So while I do not have a lot to compare it against, I can provide what I've learned through my research that led me to choose this product, as well as my experiences with it so far.

After doing a lot of research, I chose THIS sewing machine for some pretty specific reasons:

1. It's pretty heavy, weighing in at 27 pounds. Why is this a benefit? It's sturdy, very sturdy, with a metal frame inside. Everything I've read leads me to believe that the lighter plastic machines simply don't last, while the old-school metal monstrosities keep working forever. I feel that this one has the best of both worlds. It looks sleek and classy, but can still sew through multiple layers of denim or thick fleece with no trouble.

2. The controls are all analog, with no digital programming to malfunction. You just push the buttons to select your stitch and go, and there are sliding levers for stitch width and length. It seemed that the digital models are wonderful, but sometimes they go wrong, and I just wasn't willing to deal with that.

3. It got good reviews. I read all the reviews for a number of different machines I was considering by Brother, Singer, and Janome, literally thousands in total. Considering that I was trying to come up with something that would LAST and be an investment without spending an arm and a leg, this one beat out the others. I also considered % of reviewers who rates it 4 stars or higher vs. 3 stars and under for each machine. They all have some 1-star reviews for some reason or another, but at the time of both my purchase and the writing of this review, this one seems to have less than its share of unhappy buyers compared to other similar machines here on Amazon.

Now, I'll share a bit of my actual experiences and observations now that I've been playing with this thing for about a month...

Pro's:

-Threading is incredibly easy. It does not have the "1, 2, 3..." instructions printed on the machine, but it does have little diagrams with arrows to remind just how the thread should go through each step. The auto-threader to get though the tiny needle hole is VERY easy, and the bottom bobbin is easy to put in right.

-The built-in light is bright and well-placed, making it very easy to see your work from all sides. It comes on automatically when you power on the machine.

-There is a reverse function to lock your stitches... just push once and it completes a stitch in reverse for you.

-The storage compartment is roomy enough for 5 regular spools of thread plus needles and the darning plate and bobbin cover discs and felts.

-The stitches are illustrated on the front (as you can see in the product photo), so you can just look for what you want, press the button, and go.

-It's really easy to use, and the tension seems to come out right just set on "auto." However, if needed tension adjusts by turning a dial on the top.

-Comes with CLEAR and EASY TO READ instructions with good diagrams/drawings to help you figure stuff out if you don't want to deal with the DVD.

-Also comes with a DVD tutorial! How cool is that?

-The stitches all seem to come out beautifully and effortlessly. It pulls the fabric in at the needed speed, so all you have to do is guide it side to side. There is also a darning plate that easily pops into place for "free form" work if needed. (Like if you wanted to sew in a circle or tight curve... wide curves you can just guide without the darning plate.)

-The foot-pedal is easy to operate. You can vary from one slow stitch per second so you can see what it's doing, to wound up going really fast. Apparently some are rather "all or nothing" in their control, but that has not been the case for me with this one. Barefoot or with shoes on my feet, it has been very easy to get used to it, so that now I can get it to the exact speed I wish for effortlessly.

My only "con" is that it has a limited number of stitches, and already I have seen a stitch called for that was not available exactly. However, it seems that all of the basics are here, plus several decorative ones.

So, overall, 5 stars. The only other thing that I think is worth mentioning is about the thread. From my research, it seems that using quality thread is highly important in helping your machine last a lifetime. Don't buy bargain threads it's just not worth it. You can evaluate the quality by pulling to test for breakage, and also by looking at the thread under a microscope. Lots of stray fibers will wear away at internal components of your sewing machine over time. The most perfectly smooth thread I've been able to find is "Coat's Cotton" which is 100% Egyptian Cotton, and "Coat's Extra Strong" for denim and jeans, both by Coats & Clark. I would imagine their silk and polyester would be ok too, and they are available at any and every fabric store in the U.S.

I hope this helps you in making your decision! There are so many machines out there that it took me forever to decide on this one, but I am 110% delighted with it, and would recommend it to anyone. I was also VERY pleased with Amazon's service in getting it here safely and promptly. It was very well-packaged and arrived as pristine as if I'd carefully brought it home from a local store. Truly, I am a very tough customer, yet couldn't be happier.

The Pink Box is a high quality product, though the exact color approaches magenta more than it does pink (its closer to a dark "shocking pink", not a pale red). My girlfriend was totally satisfied with this present and it does draw some attention/interest around it...it's used for carrying around architecture modeling tools and it provides more than ample space for that although it could use a few smaller compartments for smaller parts (like spare blades and tool bits etc)

Edit Nearly 1.5 years after it was bought, the box still looks clean (pink metal parts are scratch resistant enough) and latches keep working line new.

No, it wasn't used hard, but it was used nearly 2-3 days a week moving stuff around and being filled with pointy/sharp tools NP.

The dimensions on this drafting table say 24x36x45. Turns out they are actually 24x36x34. I don't know about you but an 11-in difference in the height dimensions are rather significant. I have a stand up desk at home and it is 44 -in at the front and 48-in in the back. So, when I saw this was 45-in high, I thought great! Turns out at 34-in high, it's a perfect standup desk for a 5-yr old.

There were some reviews suggesting missing parts, etc. I didn't get that far. Turns out one of the supports for the semicircular tilt wheel was not even cut through the wood so you couldn't get the piece in there if you wanted. Devious of them to only drill this half way knowing you were just about done. I'll bet they're still laughing about this in some Chinese factory.

I just can't believe the dimensional specs say 45-in high and it's 11-in too short. And, of course, there is no way to raise the height. It's fixed.

After an hour of work I now have to take it all apart and stick it back in the box and ship it back to Amazon. I'm really getting bummed with having to send a bunch of made in China stuff back to Amazon. The return policy is great but how do I recover 2 hours of completely wasted time.

I'd give this zero stars but that's not allowed.

I so wanted to love this item.

I was skeptical about this set. The title says "Large" spools, and as I've learned in the past, Large usually means tiny little spools that are good for barely one project. Not these!

These threads are beautiful, they sew great (no fraying or breaking!!), and the colors are fantastic! I would recommend them to anybody! They really are large spools... not the huge overlock spools, but nice, thick, healthy amounts of thread. Buy them!

I bought this cartridge for it's great artwork; I think it's fabulous. I use my Cricut Imagine to cut my die cuts and it cuts these images really smoothly. This cartridge also has a great font. It's a very tasteful and mature cartridge compared to some of the others that provo-craft offers but there is a touch of whimsy to it as well. Overall, I would recommend this cartridge.

I have never written a negative review but in this case beware! I bought the art skills string of lights for a poster and love it! The string of lights were easy to insert into my board, the lights showed up great and made a wonderful display. So based on my experience with the company's other product I bought the flashing stars. I found them cheaply made, very hard to switch the switch on the side and then no flashing lights on any of them! I could understand one not working as a "fluke" but all of them?!!! Not a happy teacher and will not buy any more or recommend them to other staff members! I really wanted them to work and loved the idea on being able to put them any were and being reuseable. I hope the company can try again making a better product.

This airbrush is one of the oldest designs still in production today. It was first designed back in the 1930's. It's made in the USA. I bought this because of it's ability to spray most types of paints. I use craft paints which is considered not the best paint for sophisticated airbrushes so I bought this one. Their ads are not misleading. I was able to use this airbrush with ordinary craft paints with ease. I love it. This isn't the best airbrush out there in terms of performance but it works great for my hobby of model kit building. I have no regrets buying it.

I've had these for a couple of weeks now and I've experimented with them on several projects. The joins and tips are smooth and easy on the yarn that I knit with -no catching or snagging with several different kinds of real wool. The swiveling cord is nice and the tips are just the right length for this man with large hands though they are not sharply pointed and may prove difficult for intricate stitch work, like P3togTBL.

I haven't had any problems with them coming unscrewed yet. I imagine that using a small piece of rubber glove or some other gripping material (like the little one that comes with the Boye set) would tighten the join when you first put them together but the swiveling cord seems to eliminate any issues with coming unscrewed for me. I actually read another review on a knitting blog where the knitter couldn't get her tips unscrewed and had to resort to the gripper to get the tips off the cords so your mileage may vary.

I have several sets of interchangeables (Boye, Knit Picks, Denise) and all of them that use the screw-in method for attaching the tips to the cords seem to have some problem with unscrewing when you get to the end of a heavy sweater or other large, heavy project that places stress on the join while knitting. That may be more about the laws of physics than anything and perhaps the Addi Clicks would be more reliable for knitters whose style produces frequent unscrewing.

I would say that this is a good, middle of the range product and the size range of the tips and the swiveling, very thin cords are great. I wish they had some kind of end caps though so they could be used as stitch holders or single points; all my other interchangeable sets have this option but not these. Wonder why?

Donegan OptiVISOR Headband Magnifier

I have owned an OptiVisor for several years. Originally purchased for work, I bought a second pair for home and have used them for (to name a few) pulling splinters out of the kids fingers, assessment of a problem with my dog's paw, detailed gluing of small project work, removing and assessing a tick, replacing a watch battery and for making small, detailed measurements. My eyes aren't what they used to be--but with these... they're temporarily much, much better!

Others have reviewed the limited depth of field. This is true--you'll need to be close to the subject for it to be in focus. Please understand that this is not a fault of the manufacturer but is the way optics perform when designed to work in this fashion. In my opinion, this limitation makes these an unsuitable solution for reading unless you need extreme help and are willing to hold the material very close. I've tried. It's clumsy.

Two notes from my years of using this product. 1) There are "thumbturn" tighteners (small knobs visible in the picture) that keep the visor in position once you've adjusted it on your head. We tend to only tighten the one on the right because we are right handed. The left one became loose, fell off, and was lost for quite some time before we located it under the couch. Keep both of these finger-tight or you may lose one of them. 2) The optics can scratch if you store the visor improperly. We like the visor so much that we put a hook on the wall near the office desk--just an arm's reach away. Easy access. Safe storage.

These are ruggedly built, well-designed and have helped me to solve many problems. Therefore, they get my 5-star approval and recommendation.

What I like most about Le Plume II is the unique colors they produce. They offer shades of colors that I cannot find anywhere else. I use them for coloring books, so I cannot say how they work on rubber stamps, but in coloring books, the color is smooth as well as easy to blend because of the slow drying time.

One thing I was disappointed by was the extra fine end of these double-ended markers. While it might work fine for rubber stamps, I don't know, but the extra fine end doesn't seem to want to "color" smoothly on a page, even on a small area. However, the brush end actually comes to a pretty fine point, so it ended up not being a huge problem for me personally. Still kinda disappointing that I can only use one end of my double-ended markers!

Overall These markers make me very happy because they offer shades of colors that I have never had before, particularly very light colors with this Pastel set.

Warning If you own another set of Le Plume II markers, beware that they duplicate some colors from set to set. For example Pale Pink is in both the Pastel set and the Basic set. If you buy more than one set, chances are you will have some duplicate markers.

These toggle clasps are a good size for a necklace, but far too large for a bracelet. The price was one of the best on Amazon, I can find them cheaper at Walmart (when they have them) so it is always easier to order from Amazon.
