I've seen some people complain about this being plastic, but I don't see why it matters. It's sturdy enough, fits my Singer perfectly and hasn't had any damage after at least a half-dozen uses so far. I couldn't find an invisible zipper foot for my machine from any of my local stores, so finding this here was a life-saver!

Sandblaster tool is very well crafted. Light enough to control easily but heavy enough to not feel cheap. Plenty of control and modulation with a nice comfortable feel.
Comes with abrasive grit which works great for my glass etching needs. For larger areas you'll probably want something with a wider swath but i'm working with small areas which are masked off by vinyl stickers. Pinpoint precision at close rage with a max affective range of about 3" for a swath about 1/4" (at 65psi). You can get heavier grit for more aggressive blasting but the grit that came in the kit works just fine.
I ended up being very surprised with how well this little blaster kit works. "Virtually" plug and play.
I would give this a 5-star review however the kit does not offer any easy option (adapter) to connect to standard 1/4" NPT fittings (common air compressor fittings). I ended up searching my local hardware stores for an adapter for the end of the supplied hose and found nothing. Ended up cutting one end of the hose and using a 1/4" NPT to 1/8" barbed brass fitting with small zip ties to clamp the hose on. Not a big deal once everything was said and done but it would be nice of the supplier could offer or even recommend an adapter for the hose. Not a big fan of having to modify something right out of the box to get it to work but the tool works great so not a big loss.
Small air compressors are available to connect right to the supplied hose but if you're like any normal Joe with a basic garage you'll end up using your garage air compressor.
I recommend you get a brass 1/4 to 1/8 barbed fitting, a secondary regulator (40-65psi operating range 65psi max), and inline moisture trap. All that can be had for under 20$ but necessary for long-term use of this sand blaster.

Hot Mother's Day Gift Crystal Glass Diamond Shaped Paperweight
I received this item, and it is very pretty, but it does not look like the picture. The picture shows something that is circular, with some kind of faceted interior or maybe a cutout on one side. The object I received actually is shaped like a low, faceted cone with a flat bottom. As I said, it is beautiful, but I wanted something with a spherical profile because I am collecting glass paperweight globes.
I wonder if the vendor sent me the wrong thing by mistake!

Glow In The Dark Powder Pigment Violet
On the positive side, the violet is beautiful. Too bad it doesn't last long. Left it charging all day in the sun and still very short glow time. Also, the amount is VERY small not worth it for the price. I was able to successfully mix cheap glow in the dark paint for same effect in my resin pieces. Only downside to that is I only get one color not the pretty violet.

These are mostly the size of a quarter, some as small as a nickel. They have a nice antiqued finish on one side,the other side is finely textured. Like all of the faux effect things in this line, these are well made and work well for scrapbooking and altered art. They look nicer than the real thing because they were designed with art in mind and newly manufactured.
They aren't flimsy and hold up just fine in most jewelry applications without bending or breaking.

My old moccasins finally wore out and I searched for a replacement. This kit is perfect. It is easy to assemble and very comfortable.
Unlike another reviewer I did not want a hard sole on my moccasins; I could have bought shoes anywhere. These are perfect for folks like me who like the feel of being barefoot.
Note: I did buy a size smaller than my normal shoe size, they fit great barefooted, no danger of them falling off while I walk around outside. I normally wear a size 8 wide and I ordered a 6/7. If you intend on wearing a heavy sock you should order your regular shoe size.
Simplicity BH600 The Blind Hemmer
I would agree that the Simplicity BH600 does not take a long time to learn to use, but a better manual would really help. The instructions for threading are good, but not for other operational details. There are 3 knobs which can be adjusted to accommodate different fabrics, stitch length, depth, and thread tension. The manual tells you that much. However, it doesn't tell you what those things mean nor what the numbers mean or when you should turn the knobs which way.
Take stitch length, for instance. On my old Singer machine stitch length meant the number of stitches per inch, and measured the distance the feed dogs moved the fabric per stitch. Higher numbers meant smaller stitches. On my Janome, stitch length refers to the number of millimeters the fabric moves per stitch the needle makes. Smaller numbers mean smaller stitches. I have no clue what the "stitch length" means on the BH600 or what is measured. The total information given is "Variable stitch length to customize the stitch for every fabric weight." Not a clue concerning what is measured (interval between stitches? length of the stitch from the edge of the fabric?) or when you should turn the dial one way or the other.
Nevertheless, its compact size is very important for those of us who only need a blindhemmer once every couple of weeks, it stores very neatly in the box it ships in, and it worked well right away on the lightweight cotton the machine was set up for. I'm just afraid that it will be a bear when I have to try to figure out those knobs by trial and error.
One year later: I would take away some stars at this point. The tension system is not at all robust in this machine. Even though I do not use the machine heavily, with months going by without using it, the tension mechanisms are totally shot. It started giving trouble just before the warranty was done and I contacted a certified shop to see about getting the machine worked on. I was told that the spring is a little weak, just take it out and stretch it a little. I did and that worked for a while, but it is pretty worthless now. I supplement the spring with a washer my husband found that is the right size, but the plastic knob that holds the tensioner parts together is also cracking.
I would also not buy another straight needle hemmer. The problem with the straight needle is that a bar lifts the fabric up just as the needle is about to pierce the fabric. This tends to pull light-weight fabrics out of alignment, making the hem a little crooked unless you really fight it. All in all, I would not buy this machine again nor recommend it. Pay a little more and get a machine that is more robust and will work better.

I bought this basket because I wanted a place to keep all of my sewing supplies for small projects and mending the size isn't too bad and can hold quite a bit of supplies (with no room left for the projects) but the manufacturing quality was very poor
* the bottom/side of the basket was smashed in a bit (probably an issue just with mine, but it revealed how poorly constructed the basket is)
* the bottom is glued to the basket, and doesn't seem like it would hold much weight
* there are staples used to put the basket together that are sticking up
* the inner tray is a cheap plastic
* the notions included with the basket are a VERY poor quality (but I did not buy the basket for the notions, so I won't comment on them beyond this statement)
* the ruffle around the bottom (which had the potential of being useful to hold little instructions or various notions) is just a glued on ruffle that cannot be used as a pocket
* the lid does not stay open very well (hinges even look cheap)
My daughter loved the idea of a sewing basket and asked for one for her birthday, since she wanted a blue one and I could not find a blue one on Amazon, I went to a local Joann's store to see if they had any not only did they have some blue ones, they were much better made the ones they carried were Dritz St. Jane (which I have seen here on Amazon, but didn't pursue because most of them said you pretty much get whatever color they send you) when I saw that my local store had a 40% off sale on their sewing baskets, I not only bought her one, but also bought a replacement for myself not sure what I'll use this one for maybe a darning specific box that just holds my darning supplies for socks
This basket is okay (thus the 3 star-rating) maybe good as a starter basket for a little girl, but don't expect it to hold up very long to play

This dress form is so poorly engineered that the metal and plastic base of it, which stands on the floor, cannot be correctly assembled. The parts just don't fit together, as the sizes of parts that are supposed to join each other don't match-up. The size-adjusting mechanisms of the dress form 'body' are flimsy plastic and are not strong enough to withstand being adjusted many-multiple times. As the size of the dress form 'body' expands when it is being adjusted, the tension on the flimsy plastic adjustment mechanisms increases rapidly to a point where it cannot maintain the desired setting, and it spontaneously springs-back to a smaller size. It's impossible to keep it at the desired large size. The included instruction sheet is woefully inadequate in every way. My unit arrived without any adjustment tool a little knob that must be used in order to adjust the size of the dress form 'body.' I contacted the factory, and after too many e-mails, one was sent to me in the U.S. mail. Their e-mails were polite and their customer service is good. But it would have been so much better if the necessary tool had actually been included in the box! Since there was no packing slip, or list of parts included, of course I had to figure out for myself what was missing. Do yourself a favor and seek a better quality dress form than this one.
European Style Silver Charm Bracelet For Most Major Charm Beads
This is the third Pandora-like bracelet that I've ordered. The first had a barrel-like snap closure that was difficult to open. The second was touted as "silver" but wasn't. This one was long enough-9" (I usually wear an 8") but you have to leave enough for what the charms take up. And it had a claw clasp which is easier to open and close without help. Also, the end unscrews to allow the charms in but it prevents them from slipping off.

I purchased this as a quick sewing machine for my college daughter. I really wanted it to work well as I was thinking of picking one up for myself as an extra machine for quick jobs. I don't like giving negative reviews, but there were no reviews for this machine, so here I go:
Pro: It's tiny and light and very portable. Threading is very easy and stitches were perfect. Customer service responded quickly.
Con: It's loud, but it's a tiny machine and you can't expect everything...The pressure foot does not lift up high enough to get much more than a double layer of lightweight cotton through. I tried sewing a small cotton pillowcase and could not get the edges under the foot. Filling a bobbin runs the needle, which I did not like, and you need to use your finger as a way to make sure the bobbin thread goes on evenly. My biggest challenge (which I lost) came with replacing the bobbin and pulling the thread through. The instructions were useless (very limited) and customer service referred me to videos of other machines with different bobbin setups.
I never did figure out how to get the bobbin in correctly and the thread pulled through. I've returned it and purchased a full-size machine for my daughter. The machine has potential but they need to work on the bobbin issue, be up front about how high the foot lifts and put up a video.

I received this product and when I went to use it it exploded everywhere from the bottom ruining the out I had on and the shorts I was trying to fix. I contacted cutomer service and they were not only not helpful she wasn't the nicest person either. I was never given a refund.
