This is my first compressor and seeing how it runs, will probably be the only compressor I will own. I have used a model master compressor before and I feel it performs the same. Everything is included in this set to get started airbrushing (well everything but the paint). The airbrush holder (with the two slots) is super helpful when you need a place to put your second airbrush for quick changes as well as a great way to refill your gravity fed airbrush. Best part is the compressor does not sputter.

Loudness and heat:

The compressor is rather quiet. It auto shuts off when not in use (auto as in it stops humming, you still need to actually flip the switch to turn it off when you are done). I have never had a problem with it overheating or getting anything hotter than warm to the touch.

Regulator and water trap:

A water trap is crucial for any small scale model painter because water destroys paint jobs. The set comes with one so no worry here. The regulator works great and shows little discrepancy between the psi you set it at and the psi that is maintained when airbrushing (up into the 30s). Past 30 psi the difference starts to show so do some tests sprays to see where the compressor actually maintains at. Max psi is 57, this should not be a problem for most because model kit builders use psi around 15-20 and 30 for heavier paints.

Airbrushes:

The airbrushes that come with this set are nice. The G22 is a gravity feed dual action with a .30mm needle, the S68 is a siphon feed with dual action and .35mm needle, and the E91 is a single action external mixed with a .80mm needle. The hose that comes with the set does not fit the single action (in fact doesn't fit any single action) and you need to purchase a new hose (should run about $8 online) if you would like to use the single action (which I would recommend for beginners or when applying to large surface area with no need for detail. As far as performance of each brush here goes:

G22: Decent weight and fits well with the contour of your hands (I am right handed but I would imagine it feels the same left or right handed). Cap comes off relatively easily to allow for filling and cleaning. The trigger requires that you first push down then pull back to adjust the amount of paint that comes out (dual action). Definitely not as smooth as my Iwata-Medea HP-CS; however, did not cost nearly as much ($120). It performs well with model master acrylics straight from the glass bottle without any thinning. Cleaning can be a little tricky though. Clean by spraying water until color goes away but for a full clean dissembling it is required. The nozzle is not removable (at least not easily) so it requires that you drag the needle out from the back which deposits paint inside the brush. Rinse the brush thoroughly to make sure no paint is left behind. Careful of the trigger though when you remove the needle because it tends to fall out and sometimes can be a pain to put back in.

S68: Again the weight is good; however a little more awkward due to the bottom feed when holding. The small metal cup that comes with the set is of poor quality though. Airbrush works ok for the most part I would recommend getting a different siphon feed if you paint a lot of large surface area things. However for model painting this is fine. The trigger is quite sensitive and i had issues with the gun "leaking" air because the trigger was stuck in a semi press. This made the compressor turn off and on which can be annoying and requires you to fidget with it to stop it from leaking. Cleaning is a pain because of all the crevices that a siphon feed presents. You will probably need to invest in a mini brush to get in there and clean the bottom feed as well as the feed in the cup.

E91: Never bought a hose to connect this so I never tried it out. I heard a few good reviews though and it would probably be worth it to invest a few bucks to get a hose and try this hose out if you are a beginner.

I never thought that I would be able to "get into" fusing glass without spending a lot of money, and I never thought that I could make something beautiful since I'm really just semi-artistic. This book is worth it's weight in gold! The author simplifies everything, writes just like she were standing next to you having a conversation with you and teaching you step-by-step! I was SO GLAD I bought this book!

These are in no way high end items but for the price they are well made, the fit of the lids are perfect and the shaped are well put together. I got them to store semi high end coins and silver jewelry so moisture would not be a factor. I am pleased and have ordered more at this low price Stan

The Pink Box is a high quality product, though the exact color approaches magenta more than it does pink (its closer to a dark "shocking pink", not a pale red). My girlfriend was totally satisfied with this present and it does draw some attention/interest around it...it's used for carrying around architecture modeling tools and it provides more than ample space for that although it could use a few smaller compartments for smaller parts (like spare blades and tool bits etc)

Edit Nearly 1.5 years after it was bought, the box still looks clean (pink metal parts are scratch resistant enough) and latches keep working line new.

No, it wasn't used hard, but it was used nearly 2-3 days a week moving stuff around and being filled with pointy/sharp tools NP.

I bought this saw to aid in my glass work. I have had it for about a month and have used it every weekend for at least 8 hours a day and at least 3 days during the week after work for about 3 hours a day. I have cut several projects with the saw. I loved it till I broke the original blade that came on the unit. So I bought some replacement blades for the saw. I installed the new blade just like the instruction manual said to tracking the blade and all. I started cutting my project about half way threw I thought the blade broke but instead the bottom pulleys edge broke where the blade is riding on the edge of the pulley and making it very thin. I called customer service and told them what was happing so they sent me a new pulley. So I installed the pulley per instructions and reinstalled the blade. It is still doing the same thing. Which is a shame because I love so much about this saw for instance its size it is light weight and compact. I can cut small shapes and odd shapes. I can adjust the height of blade exposed to cut bottles. Maybe I am still doing something wrong but what I have followed all instructions. I have gotten very frustrated with this saw and am looking to purchase a different saw.

have not been able to use yet. the hose needs a special fitting to attach to a standard compressor that could not be found locally. it has british standard threads (BTS). no mention made of this in the description. instructions do not say how to attach hosethere is a filter on the hose with no arrow showing air direction. finally got ready to use only to find an air leak in the filter. sent 2 emails to seller and have rec'd no response. i bought this for an upcoming project and was outside the return window when i finally had time to work on it. wished i would have purchased a different brand elsewhere.

I love the idea of this tool. It is easy to use and creates cute paper-covered brads to match your project. BUT don't touch the brad because it is liable to fall apart in a light breeze. The brad backs (the pointy side) just pop right out of the brad top with the slightest touch. I can't imagine even being able to put a page into a page protector without them popping off. However, there IS a solution. I used 2 layers of "Sticky Strip" adhesive from Stampin' Up (available in retail stores but I can't remember the brand name) on the face of the bottom piece before assembling the brad with the i-top tool. This seems to hold them together just fine. I will keep and enjoy using my i-top tool, but the tool/brads are not the quality I expected and it does require an additional step of adding adhesive.

**UPDATE**

I contacted the mfr about this issue and they sent me a new pkg of blank brads because they figured I got a bad batch. I'm happy to say that the new brads work great no adhesive needed! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I recommend this product and if you have any issues definitely contact the mfr.

Uhm...no. Sorry guys, back to the drawing board on this machine. It is absolutely riddled with design flaws and I must agree with another reviewer: Singer is NOT the company it once was, certainly not the company that has been used and trusted in my family for over 80 years. There is NOTHING (I repeat, NOTHING) heavy-duty about this machine. Basically, this is a standard grade home sew machine, repackaged to look "industrial" with a beefed-up, clutch style motor. Though this machine is very fast (as fast as most industrial machines) it does not have the pressure in the presser foot nor the power in the feed mechanism to support the motor speed. With the slightest resistance, the motor will race away, producing stitches while your work remains stationary under the presser foot. Though the variable needle position is handy, it is very unstable. The slightest pull dislodges the needle position (even with the needle at its lowest point)producing uneven stitch length and unpredictable stitch position. Needless to say, top stitching produced by this machine in anything heavier than cotton broadcloth is appalling. Just forget sewing with wool melton or any other cloth that has substantial loft. Because of insufficient foot pressure, this machine skips in heavy fabrics and leaves clumps of unused thread on the bobbin side. And speaking of bobbins...who would use a Type 66 bobbin in what is called a heavy duty machine? Yes, the drop-in bobbin is very convenient but the Type 66 requires constant re-threading. It's simply not a bobbin with high enough capacity for large or heavy jobs. I agree with a previous reviewer: the accessories included with this "heavy duty" machine are a joke. The spot-weld on the general purpose foot broke within the first week of use. It is now held together with crazy glue because I dread calling Singer for a replacement. The so-called zipper foot is a half inch piece of plastic encased in something resembling tin foil. Also broken. When I received my machine, the accessory package, foot pedal, power cords, warranty and owners manual were missing from the box. It took three weeks to get them. The owners manual was back ordered for over 8 weeks. Is no one at Singer nimble-minded enough to scan the manual and make it available as a PDF download? Perhaps the most frustrating thing about this machine is that, at the $200.00 plus price point, it does not include features available on Singer's entry level machine, Singer Simple. The Simple model includes variable foot pressure (which is easily tightened using the enclosed screw driver) or the extra inch of clearance under the presser foot, VERY handy for heavier projects. Honestly, I tried to return this machine two weeks after purchase but neither the supplier nor Singer would take it back. Singer has the worst customer service department I have ever encountered and...well...just skip the website. It is woefully inadequate. Two thumbs down!

I got this machine a year ago as a beginning sewer. I really loved it and was able to learn and make many things with it. I discovered and confirmed that sewing was going to be my 'thing'. I did not want my husband buying anything too expensive or fancy just in case I ended up not liking to sew.

Its a basic model and I don't need all of the fancy extras anyway. But now a year later, as my sewing confidence is growing and I am moving on to try new things, the machine stopped working right. There is some sort of problem with the thread. Its not the tension, I have tried everything. We have oiled and dusted it, changed thread, bobbins and fabric. The manual is terrible and not very helpful. The machine still runs but after a few stitches, the thread either breaks or comes out.

It may be a simple problem to fix but not something we can figure out. Since my husband got it for so cheap (and even on sale) he decided to get me a new one instead of paying to have this machine repaired.

We got a Husqvarna Emerald for $299. (a basic model) There is no comparison in how it runs its sturdier and even though its a basic model it has many nice extra features and the manual is great.

Having said that, there is no way that one year ago I'd have wanted a $300 machine not knowing if I would like sewing or not.

The Brother worked great and was easy to learn on, I just think it should have lasted longer than a year. 3 Months ago I probably would have given this 5 stars. Thats how happy I was with it until I started having these frustrating problems. (and an added note...a Husqvarna never needs oiling! How about that?)

I have no complaints at all about the Big Shot. It is heavier than its competitors, and has a bigger footprint, which makes it a bit more difficult to take to crops or to store at home. However, the size and weight are what make it the excellent machine that it is. My video demo shows how to use it with Cuttlebug Embossing Folders, Cuttlebug Dies, a QuicKutz die, and a brass embossing template. These are by no means all of the dies that the Big Shot can take -they just happen to be the ones I own. I love this craft tool.

I'm disappointed with my BeDazzler. The process of putting the gems in the machine positioning the machine just right, pressing down, finding out the little prongs did not fold right, removing gem and trying again is tedious.

I keep adjusting the machine but best I can do is have a success rate of 1 out of every attempt. If the prongs on the gems do not fold over correctly then the gem will not say on the fabric.

I then purchased some two part gems on ebay in hopes they would work better then the ones that came with the BeDazzler again only have limited success. Getting the prongs to fold over the gem is trial and error sometimes it works, most of the time not all of the prongs fold over correctly.

I really wanted to have creative fun with the BeDazzler, but instead I spent most of my time with it being frustrated...

It seems like I have better luck putting the gems in place manually and folding them over with a metal thimble on my finger....

I have nothing good to say about this product.

It weeded like crap, it bonded like crap, the color once pressed looked like crap.

I have been printing and operating silkscreen, offset, and transfer press equipment for the last six years of my life professionally on both large and small scale applications, and this is by far the WORST vinyl I have used.

I bought it under a time crunch and a shortage at my normal supply house, but this ended up costing me more money in the end.

I bought these for a historic soldier costume for Halloween. These came and I got exactly what I paid for and expected. No they aren't really metal, more like lightweight plastic/aluminum mixwhich should be expected at this price. They are fragile and brittle enough to crack with weight/pressure/ forceso they wouldn't hold up on shoes or in any bizarre forest battle situation, if that's what you're into/using them for. They have a few "base" buttons that make up about half the pack which all matchyou probably get about 15 that match, then 12 that match, 8... 6... Etc. Then some randos.
