Stencil worked well. seems very sturdy, I think I will get a lot of use out of it. The only thing that I wish was that the pictures were a little better. The white picture is hard to see, and I thought that the gray picture was the result of using the stencil. It is not, it is just a darker colored copy of the stencil, so remember which will be your positive and negitive part of the design before painting the wall.

This is categorized as a beginner model at Walmart so I picked one up for myself for the purpose of getting more mileage out of my old favorite threads. I'm a 56 year old guy who's never used a sewing machine before and I'm so glad I chose this one. The instructional DVD packed with this machine is top notch! Thanks to the great DVD I was up and running in no time and I sewed a button back on a pair of my favorite pants within minutes after threading the machine. I used to sew buttons back on and repair torn clothes by hand and WOW! What a difference this thing makes! It makes sewing so quick and easy! I love it! I can't say enough about how great the DVD is. The narrator speaks VERY clearly and just does an outstanding job. The picture quality is great. I highly recommend this machine especially for beginners like myself. The machine seems well built and sounds solid when it runs. Everything about it is user friendly. I'm totally satisfied.

I have historically purchased this paper from Office Depot. I use it to print giclee certificates of authenticity for the fine art reproduction canvases that I make for my clients in my art reproduction business. Was very happy with the quick delivery, machine was in good shape and ready to go. Had to mess around with tension a bit, but had it up and sewing within an hour. The reverse button was a challenge to get used to. You don't press the floor pedal when you push the button, but that means you only have one hand to navigate your fabric with so my backstitches are a little wonky. Hopefully it will get better with practice.

You can have weak (magnetically) and durable magnets or strong and brittle magnets. These are the latter of the two. To get an idea of how strong these magnets are, I was doing a little test with them. I put one of these small magnets (only half inch in diameter) on the table and held another one vertically above it. I kept lowering the magnet until it was about 3" above the one on the table when it jumped of the table and smashed into the upper one. After doing this twice, both magnets split in half from the stress. To compensate for their brittleness, you can coat the magnets in 2 part epoxy resin without losing much magnetism. Overall great magnets!
