I've had these in a few strengths and found all of them useful. I'm at that age when needle eyes disappear, and I repent for making fun of my mom when she struggled to thread needles (and had the grace to refrain from saying, "Just wait 'til it happens to you!"
I particularly like that they can be flipped up, rather than have to take them on and off. I also like that there small size lets me look over them if need be.
They come in a reusable plastic envelope and with a small protective case.

My 15 year old son asked for these pens to do artwork on his surfboard. They worked fine and he has done some really cool art on his board. He did say that they really smell and it is imperative that you use the pens in a well ventilated room. He wants to by some water based pens but I am concerned that they won't be as stable as these pens. He also commented that he needed a broader point for his large artwork pieces.

The item I received does not match the product pictured. Other than it being an infinity symbol, I received a cheap version of what I thought I was buying. There are no hearts on the sides as pictured and it is very thin. I had to return it.

It is a great way to keep your threads organized and kept together. It is simply a thread box... nothing glamorous about it. I thought that the title "thread box" made it clear that it was a box, not a box filled with thread, and my product arrived within two days in perfect condition.

Works just like stated. It is loud, but does all the work and saves my hands. My initial need was to distress cardboard covers (36) for mini albums. After doing a couple of covers by hand, I knew I needed a tool to help me out. The Distrezz It All did just that.

This is not a good item. It does not punch 75 sheets, maybe half of that and I have to put my full body weight on it to get the punches to go through. I've had it over a year now. GETTING REPLACEMENT HEADS AND DISCS ARE NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!! I even tried the manufacturer. They gave me the part # but couldn't sell it directly to me. They referred me to Staples. I spent half an hour on the phone with a rep trying to track it down and EACH PUNCH PIN COSTS $32!!!!!!!!!. Ridiculous. Save yourself some hassle and buy an electric punch. Costs more but well worth the money.

Epson Ultra Premium Presentation Paper MATTE (13x19 Inches, 50

I recently picked up an Epson 3880 and have been experimenting with various Epson media. This paper is stiff enough to handle easily, give you something solid to mat, yet still multi-feed into the printer. The surface is brighter white than most of the watercolor paper I use for my ink drawings, and it creates a very nice print as a result. I don't do photo work, so I cannot comment on that, but stepping up to the ultra premium was definitely worth the price difference for fine art reproductions. There is one small problem with all of the Epson papers I've received so far. The top left corner of every stack of paper has been very slightly crunched inside the box, and the boxes have been undamaged. Apparently, something in the loading or handling process at the factory causes the problem. I notified Epson, but never heard anything back. Since I am matting my prints, which covers this very small defect, it has not deterred me from using their papers, but if you're doing a flush mount without any edge coverage, it may cause you a problem.

I've ordered so many Daylight slimline lamps most of which stopped working within months of purchase. The most recent fixture also stopped working. So I ordered a bulb just to see if thats the issue... and its working fine. So now I ordered another bulb, opened the box and the bulb is broken. Never mind that it takes about 10 days after delivery in the US for me to get it in the Bahamas.

Viva Décor 400600200 Paisley Background Stencil

Stencil worked well. seems very sturdy, I think I will get a lot of use out of it. The only thing that I wish was that the pictures were a little better. The white picture is hard to see, and I thought that the gray picture was the result of using the stencil. It is not, it is just a darker colored copy of the stencil, so remember which will be your positive and negitive part of the design before painting the wall.

AuRACLE Model AGT-1 Electronic Gold Tester from GemOro!

Review Update 4/25/14. I have been using a replacement pen that was provided me by the manufacturer over a month ago. Yes it's still messy, but this new pen hasn't dried out like the other pens I purchased. The unit still needs fairly regular calibration, which takes a few seconds a few times a day. I now use this tester as a "second opinion" when testing valuable heavy gold items, so in that regard it is still a usable tool. But as far as giving it a vote of "recommended" as a stand alone tester, I wouldn't recommend it. That said, like all manufacturers GemOro works to improve their products and I look forward to seeing a unit that I would be confident of enough to replace the acid testing I rely on. The company was kind enough to provide their latest pen at no charge, and were kind enough to follow up a couple of weeks later with a phone call to check on it. I appreciate good customer service, so in that regard, they do deserve an atta-boy.
Original Review: I have been a professional coin dealer and gold buyer over 30 years. With so many items stamped gold or are marked at a higher karat than they actually are, I bought this tester as a back-up test to the standard acid testing that I have used since I started in the business in 1979. (When) the Auracle is working properly (which is hit and miss) it will correctly give me the low or high end of the content of gold within a range. Examplewhen testing 14k it will tell me wether or not it is in the High, medium Low 14k range, which helps in paying out the right price for an item. It also works well in reading (non-gold) items. Unfortunately, it must be calibrated several times a day (often between every use), which is easy to do, but is time consuming, and you must always have a nearly flat 14k plumb gold item at hand to calibrate it properly with. The Auricle uses a liquid tipped (probe) pen that must be touched to the item being tested and is claimed to last for over a thousand tests. Maybe this claim could be substantiated under ideal circumstances in a laboratory, but in real life day in and day out use (and being generous), I would say it is good for only 1/3 of that numberthis before the auricle alerts you that you need to replace probe. Also disconcerting is the fact that the probe constantly leaks and leaves a dry milky residue. Even when not in use, the pen dries out over time and costs over $20.00 to replace. I do a low volume business (testing 3-10 gold items a day) and have replaced the probe 3 times in as many months, even though I religiously replace the probe cap after every use. This is a first generation product that in time may be improved to the point where the science and practicality reach a happy medium, but as it stands I still must constantly rely on my tried and true acid testing to be completely accurate, as there are times when the Auracle tests can jump from one end of the spectrum to the other. For any one wanting to use this as a stand alone gold testing method, you have the potential (no you definitely will) lose a great deal of money, especially if you are not constantly re-calibrating this unit. Also to work properly you must file or burnish the item being tested before each testwhich some customers will not stand for, as it damages their gold item before being able to offer them an accurate quote. Please, as someone who has nothing to gain other than to keep you from making mistakes and losing money, first become proficient in using testing acids (acid testing in conjunction with black glass or obsidian test stonesit is not difficult) and only after you have mastered that, then pay the $450 or so to use this (and only then as strictly for a secondary backup device). In addition, to better serve the customer, I think the Gem Oro company would benefit itself and the customer by developing a (LOW COST$5.00) replaceable probe (tip) for this current model, or tell customers how to recharge or refill the tips themselves instead of profiting from probes that must be replaced often. As it stands this product is more amusement than it is a practical tool for business. I hope the people at Gem Oro continue to develop this product until it becomes what it is advertised to be.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I grew up using a Singer sewing machine in a cabinet it was okay but had some unresolvable tension issues. A decade ago we went to a local trusted sewing machine store where they recommended a White. WOW were we led astray. We all hated that White the bobbin was a pain to load and it frequently broke the threads in the middle of projects causing extensive frustration and anxiety. The White was HORRIBLE to deal with loading the bobbin; the bobbin thread and sewing thread often broke, it was simply a nightmare and we stopped using it altogether. The White is so horrible no one wants that sewing machine; I've tried giving the White away free a few times, NO ONE has picked it up, despite being FREE to a good home hence it's still sitting in my garage. Afterall we paid well over $200 for the pile of useless plastic so I hate to landfill the machine. (Thankfully a local friend read my review here and gave the White to a local single mom in need.) A year ago we bought the Brother CS6000i Advance Sew Affordable 60-Stitch Computerized Free-Arm Sewing Machine with Hard Case & More! to replace the detested White Sewing machine.
So in steps our new Brother CS6000i. A friend recently came over to help make new window treatments for our living room. Sight unseen, he unboxed the Brother CS6000i and within the evening our new window treatments were completely finished without any issues whatsoever. Pretty good for the first project on a previously unknown machine.
Since then we've used the Brother CS6000i for a number of other smaller projects, it's just such a breeze to use and so refreshing after the previous horrible experience. I've come to trust Brother for good quality products, it's amazing their quality extends into sewing machines. Brother has now become the name of quality for me.
Then the Brother CE7070 arrived for review. Side by side with the Brother CS6000i, they are both fantastic machines. Both Brother machines feature the very easy to load top bobbin, and an automatic needle threader. Yes, read that again, both machines feature the AUTOMATIC NEEDLE THREADER!! VERY NICE!!
The primary differences I have noted so far include:
* The CS6000i comes with a hard protective cover, the 7070 does not come with a case nor a cover. For either machine I recommend getting the Brother 5300 Universal Sewing Machine Carrying Case.
* The CS6000i has 60 built in stitches, the CE7070 has 70 built in stitches; both come with a wide table which is a very very handy attachment!
The CE7070 features the following stitches: Garment construction including button sewing, 7 button hole stitches (1-step auto-size), mending, zipper insertion, and various stretch stitches; Decorative stitches including twin needle straight and zigzag stitches as well as serpentine leaf and serpentine flower stitches (I love the look!); quilting stitches and heirloom stitches.
Both the Brother CS6000i and the Brother CE7070 are FIVE STAR MACHINES! My recommendation: Go with the Brother 7070 sewing machine for the 10 extra built-in stitches then spend the few dollars saved to buy the Brother 5300 Universal Sewing Machine Carrying Case. Brother's customer service is 877-276-8437.
Whatever you do, don't repeat my mistake of entrusting a local sewing machine store to lead you to the machine that's supposedly easy to use and will serve you well, especially when they also offer a lengthy series of very expensive classes to then teach clients how to use the expensive confounded machine they sell.
