I have purchased five of these machines to use with 4th thru 8th grade beginning sewing students. This machine has shown to be sturdy and all around easy to use with kids. I have sewn many different fabrics and used many different stitches with great success. It is very easy to wind a bobbin and thread. Over the last two years, no complaints at all.
Handy Art by Rock Paint 900-003 2-Ounce Marker Bottle, Dauber
I bought these to fill with tempura paint for our two yr old to use as paint markers. The size is perfect for her little hands. The paint flows easily from the bottle. I am also very excited the "pressure sensitive valves" truly don't spray (or gush or otherwise make a big mess) when squeezed. It does build up some paint on the head, but certainly not the mess a 2 yr could make if she tried!
My only concern it is a bit tough to get the dauber tip back off when it comes times for refill. I did have to use some pliers to help get the tip out of the bottle. This is good as it is obviously a secure (and therefore less messy) fit, but there is a potential to mar the plastic upon remove and create a source for leakage.
Excited to use these for many art projects to come!

I absolutely love my Ultimate Sweater (Knitting) Machine. In fact, I enjoyed knitting with it so much, I went out and got a professional knitting machine and disappointed with that because the Ultimate Sweater Machine works so much better and easier.
Before being able to take full advantage of this machine, I needed to accessorize. Yes, more money but worth every penny. I needed the extensions to make it longer and the row counter (couldn't live without that) and the yarn winder and the table (you need a table with a square edge so the clamps have something to hold) and some large hair clamps to hold the knitting off the floor (it can`t touch the floor and the clamps work better than the knitting needles they recommend -just roll and clamp) and some additional weights (to weigh down the knitting so that the knitting stays on the machine and knits evenly). Go to the Ultimate Sweater Machine website to find all necessary materials.
The beauty of this machine is that it takes the standard yarn we find in the craft stores like Michaels. Fluffier yarns can get caught and make the experience frustrating, so I recommend standard 4-ply yarn to start.
It takes practice, make sure not to let the yarn pull or snag as you are knitting. I usually leave the ball behind the table and unwind enough so there is absolutely no pulling on my knit work. There is a learning curve. Don't give up!
Fancy stitches take a lot longer to complete, because we have to do it manually. People see the knitting machine and think it's easy and quick. Maybe it's quicker than traditional knitting, but it can take me a week or longer to complete a sweater, especially if I have a bunch of fancy stitches to put in.
Great machine. I'm glad I found it. Just keep in mind this kit will get you started, but you are going to want the accessories to get the most out of it.
Euro-Pro Universal Sewing Machine Carrying Case
I bought this case from the Target store to take my machine to and from sewing class. I think the box said "comfort grip handle" or something like that ("comfort" was in there somewhere). I think they made up the box on opposite day or something, because my hands were pink after carrying it for a short time. It's so cheaply made very thin and unfinished. It's also very large for most machines. I lined mine with foam so it would not clunk around (I have a Brother model which ever is the bestselling one on Amazon.) This machine is fine for storage purposes, but if you'll be doing a lot of transporting, I highly advise looking into something else. That's a lot of ranting for a sewing case!!

Used this for my seiko, just had to sand down the inside a bit. Came in pretty fast. Its cheap for the price and looks good.Would of gave it 5 stars if i didn't have to sand it down. It wasn't made for the seiko anyways.
SINGER 2732 60-Stitch-Function Sewing Machine
As a beginner I give this machine 5 stars. The directions and pictures were clear and easy to follow. The only time the machine messed up was when I did something wrong,... like sew with an empty bobbin. I've made a couple of easy to medium skill level projects (ie. pillow cases and pajama pants) and they've come out wonderfully. I've even started on making a simple Renaissance costume and it's working out pretty good. This machine works great with light to medium weight fabrics. I picked it because of the removable arm which comes in handy when sewing arm holes and the like. I also picked it for the 60 stitch feature (I've only used about 10.)
Now that I'm sewing more advance projects I've found it a little harder (but not impossible) to work with heavier fabrics or many layers because the machine isn't strong enough this is the only reason why I gave it a 4.
Even if I get a better machine I'm keepin' this one. I love it. For the cost it's a good buy.

This is not a good item. It does not punch 75 sheets, maybe half of that and I have to put my full body weight on it to get the punches to go through. I've had it over a year now. GETTING REPLACEMENT HEADS AND DISCS ARE NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!! I even tried the manufacturer. They gave me the part # but couldn't sell it directly to me. They referred me to Staples. I spent half an hour on the phone with a rep trying to track it down and EACH PUNCH PIN COSTS $32!!!!!!!!!. Ridiculous. Save yourself some hassle and buy an electric punch. Costs more but well worth the money.

I love this fabric. It is beautiful. I couldn't find the perfect baby bedding for my second girl, so I made it out of this. I thought purple fairies were a perfect compliment to the first daughter's pink princess theme. Be sure to wash before sewing; it does shrink.

I would never have considered it except I saw it in action over the weekend. A fellow potter was doing a demo on it and I fell in love. He sat it on top of a bucket and went to town. (no, he didn't use the legs) He has used his for a couple of years now and wouldn't part with it I offered to buy it from him .
In general, I like kick wheels, not electric wheels. But this one is different. It can go REALLY slow and quite fast. The speed is controlled by a little knob not a foot petal which gives you a lot more control set it and it stays at that speed. No wet clay colapsing from a suddenly speeding wheel caused by an accidental nudge of the foot as you change positions. It is just the right size full sized wheel head (11 inches) and weight 26 pounds. It uses regular bats (it also comes with the weird square one).
I wouldn't recomend it for production potting throwing 20 pound pots, but it is just right for a person like me that throws and trims a few pots a week and wants a wheel that doesn't take up a lot of precious floor space, nor weigh half a ton. It isn't a junky toy, which is what I thought when I first looked at it. It actually works. This is now on my Christmas list. I will add another review after I use mine.

Janome Open-Toe Darning Foot Fits Most High Shank Models
I just got this foot today...had bought it for my Juki TL 98Q. I rushed downstairs to try it on the machine. It fits, but just barely. The needle basically comes down between the open toes, not in the hole behind the toes. And on top of that, my needle just barely misses one of the toes.
I wondered had I just not noticed the closeness on my regular Juki free-motion foot, so tried it on and the needle is centered in the hole.
I did try free motion quilting on a small quilt sandwich I had made and I could quilt, but just wonder how it will do on a full sized quilt.
On top of this, the plastic toe part of the foot has some wiggle in it. Not at all what I expected after paying $29.99 for a foot. I am so disappointed.

I needed a regular paper cutter for home use. I volunteer to do a lot of projects for all the things my kids are in. I was disappointed in this. The top edge is a little rounded which makes it harder to line the paper up for a straight cut. The lines on the bottom that are supposed to help you align the paper change a few inches down from centimeters to inches making it even harder to line up the paper. It cuts good, but you really have to practice to get it to cut straight.
