I recently purchased this set for my wife for her birthday, and she was very happy with her gift. she is into art of all mediums and needed a drawing set after our move, and this was a great price, short shipping, and great look/quality. I would recommend this product to anyone getting into drawing.

Master Airbrush Brand Multi-purpose Professional Airbrushing

This is my first compressor and seeing how it runs, will probably be the only compressor I will own. I have used a model master compressor before and I feel it performs the same. Everything is included in this set to get started airbrushing (well everything but the paint). The airbrush holder (with the two slots) is super helpful when you need a place to put your second airbrush for quick changes as well as a great way to refill your gravity fed airbrush. Best part is the compressor does not sputter.
Loudness and heat:
The compressor is rather quiet. It auto shuts off when not in use (auto as in it stops humming, you still need to actually flip the switch to turn it off when you are done). I have never had a problem with it overheating or getting anything hotter than warm to the touch.
Regulator and water trap:
A water trap is crucial for any small scale model painter because water destroys paint jobs. The set comes with one so no worry here. The regulator works great and shows little discrepancy between the psi you set it at and the psi that is maintained when airbrushing (up into the 30s). Past 30 psi the difference starts to show so do some tests sprays to see where the compressor actually maintains at. Max psi is 57, this should not be a problem for most because model kit builders use psi around 15-20 and 30 for heavier paints.
Airbrushes:
The airbrushes that come with this set are nice. The G22 is a gravity feed dual action with a .30mm needle, the S68 is a siphon feed with dual action and .35mm needle, and the E91 is a single action external mixed with a .80mm needle. The hose that comes with the set does not fit the single action (in fact doesn't fit any single action) and you need to purchase a new hose (should run about $8 online) if you would like to use the single action (which I would recommend for beginners or when applying to large surface area with no need for detail. As far as performance of each brush here goes:
G22: Decent weight and fits well with the contour of your hands (I am right handed but I would imagine it feels the same left or right handed). Cap comes off relatively easily to allow for filling and cleaning. The trigger requires that you first push down then pull back to adjust the amount of paint that comes out (dual action). Definitely not as smooth as my Iwata-Medea HP-CS; however, did not cost nearly as much ($120). It performs well with model master acrylics straight from the glass bottle without any thinning. Cleaning can be a little tricky though. Clean by spraying water until color goes away but for a full clean dissembling it is required. The nozzle is not removable (at least not easily) so it requires that you drag the needle out from the back which deposits paint inside the brush. Rinse the brush thoroughly to make sure no paint is left behind. Careful of the trigger though when you remove the needle because it tends to fall out and sometimes can be a pain to put back in.
S68: Again the weight is good; however a little more awkward due to the bottom feed when holding. The small metal cup that comes with the set is of poor quality though. Airbrush works ok for the most part I would recommend getting a different siphon feed if you paint a lot of large surface area things. However for model painting this is fine. The trigger is quite sensitive and i had issues with the gun "leaking" air because the trigger was stuck in a semi press. This made the compressor turn off and on which can be annoying and requires you to fidget with it to stop it from leaking. Cleaning is a pain because of all the crevices that a siphon feed presents. You will probably need to invest in a mini brush to get in there and clean the bottom feed as well as the feed in the cup.
E91: Never bought a hose to connect this so I never tried it out. I heard a few good reviews though and it would probably be worth it to invest a few bucks to get a hose and try this hose out if you are a beginner.

It was the best buy for the money on the Internet in my searches. I really like it and have used it often. It keeps my sewing machine secure as I travel to classes. Thanks for a great and fairly-priced product.

Vintaj 6-Piece Square/Rectangle Altered Blank Pendant
Posted by
Unknown
I was looking for just the right backdrop to some of my handmade pendants when I saw these I knew my quest had ended. I could not possibly be more pleased unless, of course, you could summon a genie by rubbing the metal with your thumb. A genie who could grant you endless wishes, not just the paltry three you hear about in the stories. Like he could cure cancer, make the perfect cup of rum-laced cocoa, beat some sense into Congress, restore my lost lamented youth . . . but I digress.
Love Vintaj.
Love Vintaj.

This almond branch is very small, and a very poor value for the money. You're much better off going to a crafts store to get something much larger for much less.

Florene Designer Plaids and Pattern - Red n Green Plaid - Quilt

Plaid fabric is hard to find in the quilting stores and on the internet. I saw this plaid square and the seller represents this fabric as quilting fabric. When it came it is a synthetic blend not cotton quilting fabric. The price was too high, $15.00 for the square. Good fabric sells for $12.00 a YARD. I was dumb enough to pay the price because I wanted this type of plaid to go into a quilt. This piece of fabric is without doubt the biggest "rip off" I have ever had on line! It went into the garbage. The seller misrepresented the item and charged far too much for the item. A one star rating is too high.

Jesse James Beads 5926 Design Elements Shanghai Express

These beads do not come close to reflecting the colors shown in the photos. They are, instead, a dark, muted pink, taupe, and peachy-pink. There are exactly 6 glass beads, 8 6mm acrylic beads, with the balance being plastic and one with plastic "rhinestones." However, if that is what you're looking for in material, they do look pretty if you don't look too close. Obviously, I was less than thrilled but you get what you pay for!

Material is slightly lighter in color than depicted. Good to work with as I did the project myself. The material seems like it will hold up to lake conditions for years. I would purchase again.

Adjustable Blind Hem Foot 820817015 - Janome
Posted by

Easy to use after researching you tube videos.
I was hoping to use it to hem up some good quality slacks. I have the correct thread however I can't get the amount of stitching to show through close enough to what I was hoping. I was hoping to not see the thread at all but I couldn't get the thread showing to be invisible or even close to invisible. I ended up sewing by hand to be sure the thread was not visible. This would work well on material that is less finely woven. I am looking forward to using it in the future.

3 Hoops for Brother PE 150, 180D 200 Embroidery Machine

I couldn't be happier with the hoops that I bought from you. I got them ordered & received them just in the nick of time. We had a Middle school sweatshirt project( 5 sweatshirts)for some great nieces & nephew. I got them done & hand delivered to my sister...the next day was " wear your school name and get extra credit day"....so they did ! Both are good students-but it was fun for them to be in the group that wore their school pride. Thanks for getting them to me in a very timely matter & that they were exactly what you said they would be. I had a question if I could return them if they didn't fit my machine...to which I also got a very timely answer...but you told me they would fit the machine & they DID ! Thank you so much. I would buy from this seller again...in a new york minute ! LOL

These are very thin and flimsy like thick wire at best. Previously ones I bought this size at our local hardware were thick and very hard to pry open. But regretably those solidly built ones this size are impossible to find in stores any more. These will maybe do, but they are very easy to pry open, and since I use them to hang my dogs tags it is possible that it may get caught on something and easily pulled open or separated, and create a hazard for my dogs.
Considering that, I am not sure at this point what I am going to do with them.

Scotch General-Purpose Masking Tape, 2 Inches x 60 Yards, 3-Inch

List Price: $22.18
Sale Price: $14.15

This rather durable masking tape made by 3M Scotch is just about the best masking tape you're ever gonna find anywhere! Just as they say, it sticks well after you apply it so that whatever you taped together stays together. It works well to seal up cardboard boxes if you're moving; and it can be used to hold together bundled papers for recycling day. The makers of this tape state that this tape can also be used for paint masking; but I can't comment on that because I never used this tape for that purpose.
This tape is 2 inches wide and 2160 inches long; and it's very easy to use. You merely pull out as much tape as you need and then you cut the tape using scissors. This way of using just the tape you need makes Scotch tape economical for home offices, small offices or schools. I have tried writing on the tape and it never seems to work as well as when I label the box instead of the tape. Oh, well.
Overall, this is a great product that I have used for years without any dissatisfaction. It is much stickier than other, cheaper brands of masking tape and it holds things together for ages. A great tape!

Note* I use mine for soap making
Some of the ribbons are a little crude looking when they come out of the mold and I really have to work to clean them up. Other than that, this mold is great. Great quality that you do not have to worry about it breaking or tearing on you.

Vintaj 6-Piece French Ear Wires for Earrings, 20 by 10mm
Posted by
Unknown
I'm a fan of most of the Vintaj product line and enjoy making customized jewelry from their extensive line of charms, filigree, and findings. They use a variety of beautiful metals in their components -natural brass, copper, pewter, and black art deco (with pewter interior). I particularly like the natural brass...it adds an earthy touch to jewelry. Vintaj natural brass is a solid brass made up of 85% copper and 15% zinc.
Vintaj has several size and style options for ear wires for making earrings. I prefer these smaller French Ear Wires, though, because they allow the design of your earring to begin closer to your ear rather than dropping it lower. You can still end up with finished earrings that have a significant "drop" to them...but the beads, filigree, crystals, etc. all start up closer to where the wire leaves your pierced ear.
So many interesting and beautiful pieces of jewelry can be made by using various components of the Vintaj product line. I've found a lot of finished pieces on the Vintaj website that serve as inspiration. There are also a number of YouTube videos on different techniques to be found if you need help with ideas.
